Wallinwood Springs Golf Club
About
Wallinwood Springs Golf Club is bordered by the scenic Grand River on its eastern side. The challenging layout boasts an island green, an island tee, and a peninsula fairway. The golf course has two distinctly different nines, beginning with an open Scottish-links layout before moving onto the back nine, which is enclosed by mature trees. Wind definitely plays a role on the front nine and on the backside of the course there is a 26-acre, man-made lake, where if you're not careful you'll be met with a watery grave on five holes. Extensive mounding is paired with 30 strategically placed sand traps to provide even more challenges. The most difficult hole on the golf course is the par-4 16th, which stretches to more than 400 yards. Golfers will need a long, straight drive from the island tee in order to avoid the water on both sides of the fairway.

Fun, challenging and beautiful course for great price.
Course is well kept. Greens are always perfect. Front nine is a lot of fun an very rewarding. The back nine involves more shot placements and is very challenging. Cant beat the price either.
The front 9 is more forgiving for a hack like me. Thanks.
My girlfriend and I only played 9 holes. Had a very nice time. Liked the ability to call in a food order so it was ready when we "landed".
Thanks,
Bob B.
A pretty good value
The back 9 of this course is rather tricky, especially if it's breezy. Quite a few "open" holes on the front, but a few tight shots as well. Pace of play could be better.
Fun course great greens
nice course, back nine has more water and is a little bit more challenging. 4 tee boxes so it gives you a lot of choices as to the length. Rough is thick so you want to stay in fairway. It is a great course and I will play it again.
Nice course but it needs someone to empty the trash cans.
Very slow play. This would keep me from coming back.
The back nine is quite challenging
Nice course and is in good condition. The back nine is more difficult than I like to play but is challenging.
This course has a great layout.
Fun at a good pace. Seemed like sprinklers were on a motion sensor, holes 2-8. Otherwise was a beautiful course on a great golfing day.
Fun place
This is a very fun place to play. The back nine can be quite tough if you don't hit straight. The only downfall to this course is it was very wet due to flooding. Not much the course owner can do about the river flooding the course tho. It's well maintained and never overly booked. I also witnessed my first hole in one by my friends 12 year old son on this course.
Great price, good course, but kinda slow.
Title says it all great price ($15) for a very nice course. I played the front 9 in about 1.5 hours then made e turn and it was logjammed. All and all it was worth the money.
Great value.
The course is very playable for beginners, yet can still be challenging for experienced golfers.
Golf now price is a great value. I love the front nine. Very forgiving. Back nine no forgiveness better bring the "A" game for that nine.
The course has been around since 91. The front nine is open and rather forgiving. Some really nice holes on the front. The front lulls you to sleep and the back wakes you up quickly, and you better get the "A" game going fast. Your mistakes off the tee will come back to haunt you.
Fun course
Course was in good shape. Some challenging holes but nothing too crazy. Greens were rolling very smoothly. Back nine has more character.
This course has great features
I very much enjoyed golfing here, It was a very beautiful golf course. The level of play was great, challenging but not very difficult. We got a course guide to help us out. had a great time.
No GPS prices don't always hold up
When you go pay they feel that 15$ is not the price they want to sell n charge 20$ the main guy there is a dink
Very nice course that needs a little more attention to detail.
The course had some drainage problems. Greens and Tees had some bare spots. Fairways had occasional bare spots that were cause by high water.
The best greens I've played on all year.
Great value for the money! So far this year, these were the best greens we played on. They rolled very true & were fast. The front nine is nice & not too difficult. The back nine is very challenging. It runs along the river & is built through an old gravel pit. Fun.
Fun and beautiful course
Awesome views the entire course, with some really cool holes. The shots from the tee are adventurous, but not near impossible.
Amazing Recovery
This course got destroyed by the floods just a few months ago (they estimate 400 million gallons of water were on the course) but has recovered well. There is still some evidence of the damage on the back nine but considering how much water was on the course they have recovered very well.
very fun
Very good course. Front nine not real challenging but in excellent condition. Back nine much tougher, but condition was poor due to spring flooding. Excited to give it another try after they have repaired the flood damages.
Pay for 18, get 9
I will not be returning to this course for more than 9 holes. The back 9 is a joke. Every year I give this course another chance as 5-7 years ago it was always a joy to play, but those days are gone. I think it's safe to assume this course is on the way out.
