Very open fairways on most holes
A few hills and trees not much water. The course is in very good condition. The greens are not fast but are very well maintained.
fairways & greens great; cart paths need serious work
Had a wonderful time. Staff very friendly. I was very pleased with the course and greens. The cart paths, however, need serious attention.
This course is a very playere friendlly course
The staff at this course is so accommodating and friendly. I play this course quite often, and they are absolutely wonderful to deal with.
Good condition, fun course
This course is not too challenging, but is fun to play. I only played 9, but this course is pretty long, which is refreshing.
Great staff and very nice course.
I've played here about 6 times so far this year and each time the staff has been great.
Just Okay
Course just okay, good deal for the money, staff, starter very short kinda rude made you feel he was doing you a huge favior. Course was in good shape because of the wet summer, I have played before and found it dry and near death this time of year.
Could Not Start On Time Due To League!
We arrived before our Tee Time and were told we had to wait for a "ready twosome" before we could start. After 20 min we were just annoyed as we watched several people start before us just because they had 4 people, one group even had 6. Last time ever playing here. I do not recommend it at all.
Average course
Overall I enjoyed the course and will probably play again. The course is poorly marked. On several wholes we could not find a single yardage marker. I had read a previous review about a person complaining they had to wait for a golf cart. When we finished 18 and pulled up, two ladies were waiting for a cart and had said they were waiting 15 minutes. Another guy was also due up on the tee and was waiting for a golf cart. I have never sen this before and I thought the previous poster was just being critical, but in fact I seen it first hand. There was a wait for golf carts
Very scenic views, saw a deer in the 1st fairway.
I thought the course was in great shape and greens were very fast , took a few holes to get used to them.
Challenging executive course.
Great course to work on your short game with challenging greens, and found the course very well maintained.
Nice course,wide open.
Open ourse, several holes have change in elevation. no one was in front or behind us which made rate of play very fast.
Good course for the money
Pace was great - under three hours (on a Monday afternoon) and the course was in decent shape. Great greens, fairways a little long. Overall a nice enjoyable round.
Course is very open with nice elevation changes. Yardage markers are not always clear and I doubt highly the listed yardage of some holes.
Course is relatively easy. Not much water or sand. Beginning golfers will fair well.
Better for week day play
I have played this course for years but usually on the weekdays. I was very disappointed that on a Saturday they were overbooked for the afternoon. The morning outings certainly slowed play for those with tee times in the afternoon. We never finished our round because of the pace of play.
The par 3s make this course a real challange
Par 37 front and 34 back with one par 3 on the front and 3 par 3s on the back a fun course to play
Would not pay full price for this course.
I was not impressed with this course at all. It started with a 30 minute delay on our tee time due to what appeared to be over booking, which was blamed on Golf Now; which may or may not be true. My buddy and me ended up getting paired with two other guys, which turned out to be okay because they were super cool, but it was less than ideal. The course was way backed up. This was the absolute longest time I've ever spent at a course, due to no fault of my own.
The course conditions were abysmal. Every hole was littered with unintentional water hazards. Granted, we have had quite a bit of rain this season, but c'mon. Fairways were indistinguishable from the rough. There were no cart paths or markings telling you where the next hole was - spent half the time wandering around, wondering where to go.
Overall, I was very unimpressed. Frankly, I find it disgraceful that they would ask 35 dollars to play this course. Where does that money go to?!
Fun Course to Play With Average Golfers
I like to play this course with family members and friends who are infrequent golfers. The fairways are wide, the bunkers are small, the greens are in good shape and there are lots of elevation changes to keep things interesting. The staff keeps the rough cut so there will not be a great deal of time spent looking for lost balls. The biggest drawback is that the cart paths are not well maintained. There has been a tremendous amount of rain here and the paths need a lot of gravel added to them. Going from hole to hole on the cart paths is like off-roading!
bald Mountain
this course was a real pleasure to play. It is not made for the golfer looking for a major challenge, but easy enough for the average golfer to score well. The setting is similar to an "UP NORTH" course. I look forward to playing there again,
