12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Hills galore slow play for weekend
Very hilly. A lot of blind shots. Course was extremely slow the day we played. Probably won’t go back. 1 hour drive. I called the ranger. He notified the slow players but it didn’t help. He should have asked the slow players to let us play through.
Great course
Nice course, fairways and greens in great condition. Did play slow in the morning.
Enjoyable round
Good value for the money - a little bit slow on pace of play (4 hours, 45 minutes for 18), but the weather was so good we didn't care.
A good mix and short and long holes. Don't have to be the straightest off of the tee on many holes, but you can't be too wild, either. Being under the hole is imperative on many of the greens.
I'll be back soon.

Awful
I came golfing with a friend and had the worst experience here. It took 2 and a half hours to get through 6 holes. The group in front of us had 12 golfers and when going to talk to management about it, they did absolutely nothing except give me attitude and try to tell me the pace of play was normal. They wouldn’t allow me to start on the back 9, they couldn’t accommodate to let us play ahead of the group, they would allow us to reschedule for a later date, or wouldn’t give us any sort of refund. Apparently the staff thinks it’s appropriate that it should take 2 golfers 6+hours to play 18 holes. Unbelievable. Will not be returning. $53 for 6 holes of golf at a mediocre course is completely unacceptable.
Pace of play was the only issue I had with this course. Will play again while visiting this area.

Lapeer 18 Holes July 2021
Greens: Very good. Moderately fast with lots of slope making it hard to get a good feel for the speed.
Fairways: Very good. Narrow in places.
Rough: Good, lots of trees.
Cart paths: Very good. Hilly, but carts have no problems with the hills.
Bunkers: Good, a little shallow.
Layout: From the white tees, good variety. Some holes are very close together, including tees and greens. Lots of hills, generally with tees and greens at the top and fairways like valleys, so lots of second shots extremely up hill. A few holes where no strategy seems to suit.

Great course condition and layout.
Got a great deal from GolfNow, I was paired with two other golfers. Things went well as they practiced “Ready Golf.l the course was I. Great condition and is very challenging. I only lost one ball because of my familiarity with the course. Each hole does not require that you hit driver. You only need to be precise with your shots from the tee. Staff was friendly and there were cold beverages available at the turn.
Great value
Great value, nice greens, very slow pace. Got paired with three other guys, and a tourney behind us & two groups in front. Wish they would book 10-15 minutes apart
Hole in One
This was a very well kept golf course and that surprised us, but we loved it. Was a little congested but we were not in a hurry. Will definitely be here again !!!

Nice course
Nice open course in pretty good shape. I call it a good value as I live in Oakland county and a course of this level would be about 20% more costly. A good course for those who can't alwas drive perfectly straight off the tee. The greens are somewhat technical making it challenging despite the openness of the fairways.
