I will always play here when I visit Michigan. Photo submitted by Fresch on 06/21/2022

The clubhouse and the practice green. Very beautiful building and the practice green is as good as any on the course. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Practice green also has a great view of Lake Nepessing. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 13th green. What a view of the hole. This is a short risk reward par 4 with a 240 yard carry over the reeds in order to reach the second fairway just short of the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Outings
The pace of play was a little slow today due to an outing but still is a nice place to golf
Very Good
I would highly recommend the Lapeer Country Club. I too. A star off for pace of play because I played alone and made the first nine in under and hour with three groups letting me me play through. However on the back 9 I got stuck behind several slow groups who refused to let me through and it took 2 hours on the back. But overall the course was in great shape and fun to play. Still made 18 holes in under 3 hours and I would recommend.
First Timers, we could come back for another round
The course and its layout were both nice. Cost was very friendly. Fairways and, more so the rough were very hard. Main reason course got a 3 star rating for condition. No burned up areas and the greens were still fairly receptive though. Obviously, the rain is beyond anyone's control.
Etiquette doesn't care what your handicap is, although it does care if you wear your shirt.
Highly recommend
Went there for the first time and my son and 8 had a blast. Great layout with the hills and was in great condition. Greens ran smooth but were tough. Definitely worth the price. Drove over an hour to get there but would definitely go back.
Nice course as expected
Staff extremely friendly, course was in great shape. Had a blast. Highly recommended place to play golf.
Overall - Solid experience
Overall it was a great course. Level of difficulty wasn’t horrible for an amateur. Tee boxes were a bit rough, but nothing to truly complain about. Only draw back was the TeeOff app, under the course description, stated riders were $7.00, but I was charged $20.00 upon arrival. Not the end of the world by any means, but worth mentioning.
Nice course, great staff
I really like this course and they have a great staff.
Course has a good mix of holes with a number of elevated greens on the back nine..Course is challenging without beating a golfer to death..
I wish they had a driving range and a nice practice area but that is about the only real shortfall I see...Price is definetly right especially for Seniors.
