12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 13th green. What a view of the hole. This is a short risk reward par 4 with a 240 yard carry over the reeds in order to reach the second fairway just short of the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

No ranger - beyond slow
I wouldn’t suggest this course
Back nine is built on hills, poor design.

Okay course
The course its self was in decent condition, greens were solid. The tee boxes were brutal on most holes and very uneven as well. The whole course is basically sideways making for some difficult uneven lie shots. Overall not a bad course just not a fan of the uneven lies especially on tee boxes and fairways.
Thank you for your opinion of Lapeer Country Club. The women's tees were leveled last fall and we hope to finish the men's this year.

Nice course but crowded
Course itself was beautiful, well groomed and overall very nice. A little loud by the highway. The course was pretty crowded, we were backed up at every tee. Paid for 18 during twilight, took 3 hours and barely got in nine so value on that particular night wasnt good. If I would have only paid for 9 it would have been better.

Very nice course Length can be misleading.
Course is in great condition. Greens are very nice well maintained. Fixed a number of ball marks on every hole to help keep it that way. Can't do much for the lazy and inconsiderate golfers that either don't know what a divot tool is or just don't care.

A nice course to play
Nice course , well maintained , reasonable pace, and they threw in a coupon for a hot dog and beer .

This course is a fun challenge
For the money this is the best course in the area. I’d even venture to say it beats many other higher priced courses that “pretend” to be a country club or even just a high tier course. It has very challenging greens and slopes that will make you question your club choice, however it is immaculately maintained and the carts are in great shape. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the views of the lake were nice. I will be back many times for sure, in fact I have a tee time today.

Lapeer country club
Loved the course. Only problem was the slow play by some elderly folks. Took 4.5 hours to golf 18 for my wife and I. Never saw a Ranger!

Beautiful course - too long to play
The positives: Course was in great shape, greens ran true (and fast), layout is a solid one, and staff was friendly (beverage cart lady was regularly driving around - a big plus!)
The negatives: No starter (5 groups lined up on tee), no rangers on course to tell the pokey golfers to speed it up. 5 and 1/2 hours is inexcusable, even on a Saturday.
