12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 13th green. What a view of the hole. This is a short risk reward par 4 with a 240 yard carry over the reeds in order to reach the second fairway just short of the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Good overall, with a few caveats.
Course was in great condition, all holes had ball, cleaners, and good condition condition greens. Water features are plus as well. The beverage cart woman was very friendly, and frequently checked on us. Part of the course is near the highway, which is quite noisy.
The clubhouse leaves much to be desired, it was dark, seemed like it was shut down, and only had hotdogs at the turn, nothing besides that. Real shame, makes this course experience less because of this.
Fastest round ever
Early tee time ..Just 2 of us..3 hour round .. Lots of uphill and downhill shots.. Long par 3s .. overall good experience.. Definitely be back

No ranger - beyond slow
I wouldn’t suggest this course
Back nine is built on hills, poor design.

We are sorry you were disappointed in Lapeer Country Club. We try our hardest to make everyone's round enjoyable.
Okay course
The course its self was in decent condition, greens were solid. The tee boxes were brutal on most holes and very uneven as well. The whole course is basically sideways making for some difficult uneven lie shots. Overall not a bad course just not a fan of the uneven lies especially on tee boxes and fairways.
Thank you for your opinion of Lapeer Country Club. The women's tees were leveled last fall and we hope to finish the men's this year.

Nice course but crowded
Course itself was beautiful, well groomed and overall very nice. A little loud by the highway. The course was pretty crowded, we were backed up at every tee. Paid for 18 during twilight, took 3 hours and barely got in nine so value on that particular night wasnt good. If I would have only paid for 9 it would have been better.

Very nice course Length can be misleading.
Course is in great condition. Greens are very nice well maintained. Fixed a number of ball marks on every hole to help keep it that way. Can't do much for the lazy and inconsiderate golfers that either don't know what a divot tool is or just don't care.
