One of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the Midwest
Great day at Whittaker Woods.. the golf was very difficult but fair and the course was in great shape. The variety of terrain, well designed holes and well maintained greens made for a great day. Well worth the visit. I highly recommend it but stay on the fairways.
enjoyable, nice course.
Good help, great course with a well maintained greens and
fairways. I enjoyed the day!!
Very friendly staff at well mintained course
Played there two days. One better than than the other. 1st day wide open, next day stacked up and slow play. Nice challenging golf course with fairways and greens in great shape. Never did get GPS on phone to work after many promises. Was a drawback as course is not real well marked for distance. Staff very friendly and accomodating when possible.
Love This Course!
One of the nicest courses in the area. The course design is awesome and the only thing better is all the employees and the food in the restaurant and bar. Thanks!
Don't miss out!
If you live in Chicago and have a day to spare go play this course! It' was just a random pick out of the blue for me but turned out to be an awesome surprise.
Every hole is a new chalenge
2nd time playing this course and i was very impressed again. Every hole is secluded from each other and will challenge the very talented golfer from the tips. Course was in great shape. Fairways are tight and the rough was very playable. Greens are quick but very true.
Great course for the money(especially when hot deal available)
Nice course. From the "green" tees there is significant carry on many of the whole.
Well maintained course. Greens and fairways are excellent. They say they have a GPS system for your smart phone but no one could get it to work on their phone. Course is well marked but having the GPS would have made it more enjoyable.
Great parkland course.
I have been playing this course from the day it opened and I never get tired of it. Some of the best conditions anywhere. If ever in the area this is a must play. Probably the toughest front nine in the region. Course was actually carved through a forest and wetlands, no lie.
Very Nice Course
Great day on the links. The course is fair, but challenging. Rewards straight shooters. Bring your short game.
Really enjoyed the layout
Course is designed so that you feel like you are the only people on the course on most holes. Challenging yet playable for most golfers. The natural beauty of the surrounding woods added a lot to enhance our experience!
Nice winding cart paths through woods. Separate fairways on all holes, very peaceful
I would highly recommend this as a course to play. Very well maintained and very relaxing day of golf. Club house, bar, pro shop are very upscale and nice.
Beautiful Course
Bring lots of balls!!! Tight fairways and plenty of water. Every hole has it's own personality and each hole is completely secluded. The course was in great shape even though it was November. Good practice area also.
This course was Degree's lower than the Ravines golf course in Saugatuck MI.
Course had standing water in most sand traps.
Much of the course was water logged.
Greens were good.
No GPS on Carts.
No extra towels or club cleaner on carts to clean clubs and balls.
Leaves were concentrated on some tee's (obviously were not blown off the day we were there.
If you like to draw the ball this course is for you.
I arrived a little earlier than the tee time I had purchased. Since the course was not too busy we were able to tee off a bit earlier than our tee time. Given the extremely dry summer we had this year the course was in above average conditions. The greens rolled very nice and were fast, but not too fast.
I enjoyed the round and for the price we paid I thought it was a good value.
