Never come back
Organizer is too greedy and not even thinking about customer.marshall did nothing to push super slow group.
Never come back again, we were supposed to start from 6:02PM and finished at 9:30PM.
Watch out for Rangers, they discriminate
Went golfing with a group of 4, had another group of 4 in front of us as a group of 2 behind us, mind you we were at the pace of play through out each hole and had to wait for the group in front of us for 3-5min before proceeding, in between holes, the ranger comes by and tells us the group of 2 behind us is a 5 handicap and that we need to wait for them to pass through, keep in mind we were at the pace of play. We were told they would play it fast. The guy hit 80 yards off the drive… and kept us waiting 10min as he took 2-3 min to hit each ball. Then on the last hole, another group of two just cut right in front of us without even asking. It’s like people forgot manners and common rule of waiting your turn. Who ever the ranger is on saturdays, you are not fair.
Deceptively Difficult!
Seeing the scorecard and length of the course you might think this an easy course, but in my opinion the course slope rating isn’t correct.I would rate this course from the tips as a high 120’s slope or possibly low 130’s. There are many water hazards and tight fairways bordered by woods on each side on many holes. Also, you need to know yardages to corner doglegs or you may not advance enough to have a clear shot at a green. That was my only complaint, the scorecard and the yardage signs on the tee boxes didn’t correspond to one another on quite a few holes. The greens are also fairly undulating, so it makes for some tough putts, especially if they are drier I would imagine, although they were rather slow the day we went.
You get what you pay for
Grass growing in the bunkers, couple dead spots on the greens, lack of grass on the tee boxes. However, it feels like Augusta after you pay $22 for 18. It’s not immaculate conditions by any means, but it gets the job done, and feels like a welcoming place. It’s my go to course for cheap golf.
