About
The Myth Golf & Banquet, formerly known as Beaver Creek, tumbles across rolling hills. Situated next to Lake Orion, the golf course sits on protected land that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including sandhill cranes. There is both an 18-hole championship course and a nine-hole par-3 course. In 2007, when the Myth was established, several improvements were made to the championship layout, improving its conditions and making it more challenging. The scenic golf course features boardwalk cart paths that cut through beautiful pine forests. Don't get too distracted by the scenery though because there is plenty to keep you busy including multi-tiered greens and water hazards on almost every hole. The 13th is the golf course's signature hole. This par 3 plays from an elevated tee over water to a generous green, offering a great opportunity for a birdie.

Tee boxes and poor pin locations for a windy day
Every tee box is on a mound making it uneven. Shouldn’t have to worry about ball being above or below your feet for a driver shot.
On hole 17 the pin was on the top of the green on a crazy angle and with the wind the ball would roll from the top of the green to the bottom. My bet is the honest average score today was 9+

Pro shop staff needs to be trained
I get that it was a random warm front in February.
But it’s absolutely ridiculous to have two women in the pro shop. Gossiping and complaining about the clientele and not giving out the necessary information to the paying customer.
No professionalism. I didn’t even know we had to play the back 9, twice. Until we had teed off.

Great course but
The course was great but only the back nine was open so we played that twice funny no info was offered till we were fully paid & at the course definitely will do more information gathering before booking on golf now not a
