Myth Golf & Banquet - Regulation Course

This course was fun, great design! Had hard holes and had easier one for sure… the thing is whoever is cutting the cups A. Needs to do it every 2 days (not 4-5 days.) B. Cut them straight. When you have the time make sure they position straight. As an assistant superintendent this is sadly disappointing. Could have been such a perfect review. By the way they take you Drivers ID when you get there… make sure you bring it, if you plan to drive. Other than that the course was great! The greens need major work because there might’ve been 4/5 steps/levels on the green, other than that they slope down towards you. Ohhhh and I don’t pay attention to pin flag colors because they aren’t the same at all. Had a red flag close (like it should) and had a red flag 2 1/2 feet off the back of the green. #HonestReviews

We went and played this yesterday and when we got to the starter she was so confused on who was playing with who and who had what tee times because they were so backed up there were 8-14 carts sitting there to check in with her. It was a little frustrating. The course was alright but some of the tee boxes there was no grass on them and they were so hard I broke a tee trying to get it in the ground. Also, I was not comfortable at all putting my name on a list with my drivers license that just sits out on the counter for everyone to see.

My husband and I scheduled a last minute date day, and we did find a deal on the course with a 1pm tee time, but it was a great find! We enjoyed the course - it was challenging but fun (we are NOT “great golfers” - we have moments of brilliance and enjoy hitting the links). The staff was laid back and pleasant and it was just a great, easy experience. I recommend and can’t wait to go back!

I have not played here in about 4 years and now I remember why.

Tees boxes slanted and torn to pieces slow play is normal atnthis place 9 holes in 3 hours. There was a ranger but he was out enjoying the sun.

Oh and lastly they charged $55 for this crap. This course is a $35 course all day everyday to charge waht they charge for 5 and half hours is a travesty.

Go up the road to twin lakes a great course

Although it says cart included on the weekend you will not receive one to take out. And when asked to speak with the pro shop manager she was inherently rude like I didn’t have pictures saying cart included when booking tee time. Course tee boxes are in rough condition and greens in ok condition.

I played on Monday morning at 7am and it was a good time to play as a single and get around at a good pace. Fairways and greens in good condition. But tee boxes are often uneven and pretty hacked up.

Why have a ranger/starter if they are just gonna mess it all up? Sitting waiting to tee off and neither the two tee times before me showed up I playing as a solo asked about teeing off I was told to wait which I don’t mind but then when a 4some of teens shows up he still let them play ahead of me as a solo and then I had to wait for a couple who had no course etiquette and would walk all over the place instead of drive. Last time I come here again such a shame cause it’s a lovely spot but not wasting my days off to golf for 6 hours cause you guys don’t know how to ensure a pace of play or ranger system.

If you book a Hot Deal here, you cannot "check in" until 15 minutes before your tee time. Which means you cannot load your clubs onto a golf cart until you get a key when you check in. -Just goofy. Pace of play was TERRIBLE the day we played (7/20/2024) but this I have come to expect on weekends anymore. The course layout is weird. Two of the par 5s you can forget about going for in two as that decision has been made for you. Having shot number two on a par 5 be a 90 yard wedge to an expected lay-up area.-Just silly. Some of the tee boxes are all hacked up and dome shaped. There is a par 4 where you need to hit 200 yards off the tee to get to a "window" to shoot left down the ninety degree dog-leg.-Ridiculously tricked up. Be careful driving through the flooded wooded forest on the wooden planked cart paths.-They are dangerous and loud and very annoying. Greens were nice but very small, except for one that is the size of 3 greens. There is one hole, the tricked up dog-leg left I spoke of earlier, that has an un-marked area where a golf cart can fall off a 4-1/2 foot deep 30 yard long ledge.-So unsafe and dangerous! There is goose p00p everywhere on this course. Not even close to being worth a $43 Hot Deal. Figured I'd take the time and tell you the truth, it's no myth, this course has seen the last of me.

Have fun playing here during the week. They have leagues in both front and back 9. Terrible pace of play. Overall terrible experience

First off I set the tea time up with golf now. Pick my tea time said with cart. Never read my email confirmation. Got to the course and found out on weekends, the par three course is walk only. Ninety percent of the greens were covered with geese sh!+ The ninth hole had forty to fifty geese on that the Ranger had tried to chase off. But they went right back. They need to do something about all the geese and get more carts. Was told "you payed 20 right? that's without a cart" I can play 18 with a cart at Hadly Acers for 40. That course has no geese and no sh!+ covering the grees.

Got real lucky on this round - started at 2, played 19 and was in the car at 5:02. There were 3 of us playing. Great time!
