Timber Trace Golf Club sprawls across the rolling countryside that surrounds Lake Wallaby in lower Michigan. The location seems rather remote, giving the course an isolated feel, but the round is well worth the trip. The layout is routed through tall pines and the fairways effortlessly flow across the gently rolling hills. The wooded terrain is one of the course's major draws. Golfers from as far as the metro Detroit area come to enjoy this scenic round. The layout has an interesting mix of holes that offer plenty of variety. There are some tricky spots but you won't come across any carries over wetlands or ponds. Golfers will face long and challenging back-to-back par 5s starting with the 15th. This duo has the potential to ruin your score.

Course in great shape. Holes have character. You don’t feel like your playing the same hole several times.. Got behind a very slow for some on front and took 2:45 to play nine. Fortunately, that group only played nine. We were able to play back nine in 75 minutes.

Awesome track

Best conditions I've ever played for the lowest price on a weekend.

Only downside was pace of okay as there was a group of 6 playing together holding everyone up. A 5 hour and 23 minute round is not much fun. Hard to keep a rhythm going.
