Rated #1 municipal course in Michigan by GolfSpy.

• Condition: Fairways & bentgrass greens are in great shape.

• Atmosphere: Scenic, quiet, and friendly staff.

• Practice Facilities: Full-length grass driving range and a large practice putting green.

Played last week of September. Course in great condition.

The course was in good condition from tees to greens. The rough was tall grass that was hard to hit from. My main problem was that the senior tees were too long. They were only a few yards shorter than the regular tees which meant that you had par fours that were almost 400 yards and one par three that was 200 yards. Both not reachable for senior players. I should have swallowed my pride and played the red tees so that I could use shorter irons instead of woods for my approach shots.

For a public course and many non public this course was awesome I’d say the best bang for your buck with in 35 miles of Livonia for less than $40 and some of the nicest course conditions I’ve seen all season I highly recommend

It's fine for what it is - an affordable accessible public course. They don't restrict singles from booking like several other options in the area. Easy place to play 9 holes.

There is a full length grass driving range although the grass is never cut short enough and doesn't have enough seed. Large practice green.

The course is not going to surprise you - it rewards long hitters off the tee, the greens are large and easy to hit without much undulation. Greens ran well - players just weren't treating them with care. Rough really needed to be cut. The course itself is beautiful and there are turkeys, sandhill cranes, sometimes even deer on the course. There are valleys, marshland, ponds, and a variety of trees.

Weekends are the best time to play the course because they run tee times on 10 minute intervals - weekdays are 8 minutes. No GPS in carts so you will have people driving carts where they shouldn't, people turning foursomes into (2) twosomes and slowing down pace of play for everyone behind them. The clubhouse has affordable food and they are making more of an effort to put out a starter this year.

Like the course, but the grass on the fairways and on the rough is very thick. Cutting wasn't done for quite some time, looks like it, and there was some water sogginess here and there. But overall, love the course.

Played this course for the first time. Absolutely beautiful layout and the fairways and greens were in perfect shape. The fees were extremely reasonable for a beautiful course like this. Definitely recommend playing this course if you haven’t already. I will be playing it again very often!

Beautiful course very well maintained very friendly staff always a pleasure to play there

The course is in great shape as usual. It’s consistently well taken care of and professional run. I only question the value of booking through Golf Now.

Always like this layout. Pin placements were impossible on a couple of holes! The rough needs to be cut down immediately off the fairways. And the tee boxes needs to be level and reseeded. All that said, this is still a good course and I’ll play it again.

On the 1st tee we asked the ranger to make sure the foursome in front of us kept pace. The ranger was a terrible person saying the group is only playing nine holes. Never coming around to ask the foursome to keep up or even asking them to let us play through.

We played the front nine I two hours 40 minutes. Totally unacceptable for a Friday morning.

Three of the players in our group had a 3 hour drive back to Indiana so were not able to continue to the back nine holes and left. Ranger was a disappointment and disgrace

Don't think we will be playing this course again. The pace of play was 4 hours and 50 minutes. We observed kids on the course without supervision playing around like kids do. .we didn't see a ranger out on the course all afternoon.

First time playing this course. It is similar to other metropark courses with well manicured Fairways, greens, and even bunkers. Liked the challenge of tight Fairways. Hard to read greens. Beautiful course and luckily I got to play on a beautiful day. Appreciate you out there keeping up the course.
