Bruce Hills Golf Club
About
Bruce Hills Golf Course is located in the north metro Detroit area near Romeo. Mature trees are scattered throughout the course, providing shade and a peacefully secluded feel. The par-70 layout is relatively short at only 5,630 yards form the back tees, making it an ideal round for beginners but it still provides good practice and a quick round for more advanced players. The golf course sprawls across a diverse terrain that allows for downhill and uphill approaches to the small, round greens, which are often sloped from back to front. Keeping the ball below the hole is the key to scoring well on this golf course. Bruce Hills' player-friendly layout only has four bunkers but water comes into play on 12 holes, providing the bulk of the course's challenges.

Pretty Bad Experience
They overbooked by a lot, it took 3 hours to golf 9. The course overall was very hilly which is fine but you can’t see where you are hitting nor the people in front of you. Maybe on an off day it could have been a better experience. But definitely the worst I’ve had in a while.
Decent Course, terrible experience
We were started behind a league that was VERY SLOW. There was no ranger to help the pace of play. Took 2 hours and 45 minutes to golf 8 holes. We skipped 9 and jumped to 10. There were at least 4 carts playing various music the entire time we golfed and they seem to be competing with each other to see who could be louder. The worst was the Rave music. I'm not that good a golfer, but didn't really need the constant bass and thump the entire round. I will not be going back, ever. It was that terrible of an experience. The course was ok, not great, not bad. No spacing between holes, so always be on the lookout for golf balls.
Great Value
Course is a great value. Not too difficult but has some challenging holes. Good for beginners and those who often need to find their balls on other fairways. Tee boxes we atrocious but again, you get what you pay for. Course seems to be getting nicer and nicer year but year though
Bruce Hills
Played the course with my Wife. We have played it a few times before. Found the course's shape was not quite where it should be but to be fair it's early in the season.
The fairways had some rough spots in need of seeding. Greens were in good shape and the greens were fast and took a little getting used to.
Overall, a nice course for couples, I thought it was a bit short and a good value.
Good Vaue
Early in the season so hard to tell what summer conditions would be. Decent layout, greens were pretty good though a little slow, tee boxes were a bit chewed up and uneven (worst part of the course), fairways were in good shape for the most part with some spring soggy areas. Seems like a good value and would like to check it out mid summer for further evaluation.
Thanks again Bruce hills
Smooth afternoon round to start the year. Couldn’t have been happier.
It's a Monday, so pretty open
Course is fine, nothing special but also nothing majorly wrong.
tee boxes are never level
Open, easy, fun
Not too long, good for working on set skills type course
Great Time!
My wife and I got a hot deal, and it was well worth it. The holes are challenging, and we had a great time golfing. The people were very friendly and the other golfers were very cordial. I would recommend Bruce Hills for anyone wanting to have a good time.
