About
Bruce Hills Golf Course is located in the north metro Detroit area near Romeo. Mature trees are scattered throughout the course, providing shade and a peacefully secluded feel. The par-70 layout is relatively short at only 5,630 yards form the back tees, making it an ideal round for beginners but it still provides good practice and a quick round for more advanced players. The golf course sprawls across a diverse terrain that allows for downhill and uphill approaches to the small, round greens, which are often sloped from back to front. Keeping the ball below the hole is the key to scoring well on this golf course. Bruce Hills' player-friendly layout only has four bunkers but water comes into play on 12 holes, providing the bulk of the course's challenges.

Bruce Hills
Played the course with my Wife. We have played it a few times before. Found the course's shape was not quite where it should be but to be fair it's early in the season.
The fairways had some rough spots in need of seeding. Greens were in good shape and the greens were fast and took a little getting used to.
Overall, a nice course for couples, I thought it was a bit short and a good value.
Good Vaue
Early in the season so hard to tell what summer conditions would be. Decent layout, greens were pretty good though a little slow, tee boxes were a bit chewed up and uneven (worst part of the course), fairways were in good shape for the most part with some spring soggy areas. Seems like a good value and would like to check it out mid summer for further evaluation.

It's a Monday, so pretty open
Course is fine, nothing special but also nothing majorly wrong.

Great Time!
My wife and I got a hot deal, and it was well worth it. The holes are challenging, and we had a great time golfing. The people were very friendly and the other golfers were very cordial. I would recommend Bruce Hills for anyone wanting to have a good time.

Cost was very reasonable the staff was very friendly play was very fast. Will play again
Not bad at all
The course was empty so pace of play was pretty darn good.
Drawbacks
1. Tee boxes are all sloped
2. Greens are domed and steep
3. A little bland of a layout
4. Heads up, balls will land near you
5. Sand traps are rocky
Positives
1. Not a lot of heather and ball eating areas
2. Fairways and greens are in good condition
3. Pace of play was good
Solid Overall
Pretty good layout with some nice turns/shots. A few dangerous areas with green locations- almost got hit about a dozen times with only one group yelling FORE.
Overall good value
Nice Day, Nice Course.
Beautiful day and pretty busy on the course. Pretty smooth on the front. Pretty slow on the back. Ended up skipping a hole to get past a very slow foursome. All said , a great day to be on the course.
