Hudson Mills Metro Park

Always Good to return to Hudson Mills for a round of golf. Very Nice course! Will Most Definitely Rwturn!

Had 4 groups backed up on fourth tee and did not have a ranger to help move things along.

The young lady and young man at the desk were great. Course was in great shape, price was very reasonable, will definitely be back to play again

This was the first time playing this course. Wasn’t sure how the course would be based on the $46 weekend price. I was totally shocked at the condition of the course and the greens. They were an awesome shape. I will definitely be coming back to play this course.

Struggled off the tee a little, with some of the tight fairway. The course was in beautiful condition.

Great facility, staff and course. Will play fair but challenge you whatever level of player, but allows you to have lots of fun. Players are genuinely friendly and recognize to be patient if you are a beginner, but do a liitle study of golf etiquette so you can reciprocate :)

3 deep on the tee, waiting 15+ minutes on each tee block. Gave up after 9 and went home. Spoke with the starter who was over the top rude and blame us for booking a twosome, when it is up to the course to pair twosomes together to balance rate of play in a more successful fashion. Lack of understanding and compassion for lackluster planning. Should have been given a rain check.

The course was in excellent condition. The greens were fast and challenging. Pace of play was a little slow.

My first time to Hudson Mills GC and I was Extremely Impressed. Well groomed with water and amenities at the T boxes. Must say the Metro Park courses are,First Rate at a very Good Price!!

It's a pretty boring course layout, especially the front 9. There's not a lot of sand traps. There's only one water hazard (10th tee) and unless you shank a drive, it's really not a factor. 13 and 14 are long par 5's where you have to be accurate off the tee or you're likely ending up in the woods. Neither is really an eagle opportunity unless you kill the ball, and can play a draw/fade well as they're both doglegs. The hardest part of this course is probably the long par 3's, 16 in particular. There's a couple greens where you have to know where to miss, as the slope will take your ball off. You will shoot very well here as it's 6500 from the tips.

My biggest gripe about the pace (besides the 8 minute intervals) is the 16th hole. By the time you've finally created distance between the groups around you, they throw a 237 yard par 3 towards the end to just torture everyone. Now you're waiting 20 minutes for the group ahead of you to complete the hole. It's a hole that just about everyone is going to bogey (or worse) unless you're a skilled golfer. Even the green has a ton of slope.

With what's nearby I can't say that I would recommend going out of my way to play Hudson Mills. But if you're able to jump on and play the course on a not-so-busy day (be warned: 8 minute tee intervals, this place can get backed up) you'll have a good time on the course.
