Pace of play
The round took 5 hours and 10 minutes to complete. Never saw a ranger until the 16th hole. As a regular Metroparks golfer, this was very poorly managed.
Metropark
They were aerating the fairways so rollout was less that expercted and divots came out rather large. Greens were perfect.
Hudson Mills golf
The was a very well maintained golf course. The pace of play was a bits slow but to be expected on a weekend with such a cost-friendly greens fee. The wildlife was very active and nice to see on a number of holes. I would firmly recommend you play this course.
Better pace of play
Lots of twosomes. Foursomes stayed home due to possible weather. Never pair groups. Don’t know why.
Muni Golf by Definition
No Range, they have nets to hit into off of mats but that doesn't tell me how bad I'm slicing my driver today. Starter was friendly the day I went, it was pretty rainy so it was cart path only, but the starter seemed to trust our discretion on the course. We never waited on the group ahead of us, but to be fair our tee time was at the crack of dawn so not many groups ahead of us. Tree lined holes where balls could get lost, but didn't present an irregular amount of difficulty. Very good hot dogs, and bonus points for me with onions being available as a topping. Little to no bridges on the property, or bridges weren't memorable. 7/10 Dogs, N/A/10 Bridges
Pair Up
Course full of 1 and 2 golfers. Pace of play would be better if staff paired up singles.
Slow Play Mulligans unlimited
This was by far the worst round of golf I’ve ever had at this course. There was a three cart back up on many of the holes. The people in front of us dropped mulligans on at least nine of the holes. It sure would’ve helped to have a ranger fielding the slow players and the multiple tee shots A ranger would have made a difference. Because it was frustrating waiting every shot we also had to be concerned because the people behind us kept hitting into us!. I also didn’t like how they make you play with people. Most courses accommodate for twosomes. Right now I would not recommend. It’s a one and done for me.
Hudson Mills
Course was in great shape. Greens are fast and run smooth. No complaints. A good value for $50 on a Sunday morning.
