North at Maple Lane Golf Club

Too many holes crammed into the course. The layout is boring, lacking creativity or enough trees to keep balls from other holes landing on your fairway…which happened all day.

Well-kept, and nice layout, but with tee times so close together, the pacing is always off. I’m waiting for people ahead or someone is right behind me. The value for 18 is unbeatable though!

the course played like it hasn't been mowed for days. I had a hard time finding my ball in the fairways. The greens were not consistent.

But, It was a great day for golf no matter the course condition.

The staff and course with pace provide a fabulous overall experience. The facility provides everything you could ever want to have fun and enjoy a round of golf.

Oh my god! Maple Lane! Where are your FAIRWAYS!?!? All of them were patchy and long and brown and every other adjective you can use to describe a substandard fairway. I paid 20 bucks to walk after school on Monday and I just wanted to play somewhere that I could finish before dark and I know this is a short course so I decided on it. I like a couple of the holes, such as the 440 par 4 fourth, and the par 5 18th up the hill with a bunch of bunkers in the driving zone. Those holes are fun and tough, but most of the holes were kind of boring. Just flat, few bunkers, (the bunkers they do have are not filled enough and rock hard), and it’s like playing on a dusty field on those fairways. Even though it’s cheap, spare your money and play somewhere else unless you have a league here or something, and move the league.

Don’t come here. Waited 30 min in the parking lot for a cart and the pace of play is terrible. Only got 9 holes in 3 hours

I would say this course is poorly maintained, but there’s nothing to maintain. Forget grass the fairway is all weeds and hard dirt. The greens are ok and I have to stress just ok, it’s the only thing redeeming this horrible course. The holes are so close together if you hit it right or left you’re interrupting someone else’s game. I can’t believe this course is packed I feel like I was robbed.... their carts are also in bad condition. I had something fall THROUGH the golf cart and get stuck and was met with “oh yeah, this happens a lot.” They were able to retrieve my lost item but how can that be something that happens a lot??? Buyer beware.

This is a basic flat course north of Detroit. Back 9 Has more character than front. Greens in good condition, fairways and tee boxes need help. Land for course is quite flat. Course is worth a play if other local options exhausted.

The fairways needed to be cut. Too many weeds in the fairway. The greens were in excellant condition and were fast. I gave the course a higher rating in the past but not this time. We did not see the cart girl until we were almost finished on a hot day. The main reason you pick this golf course is price and availability they have 3 sets of 18 hole courses so you don't need a tee time.

Terrible course conditions. Not sure when they last mowed. Fairway grass was terribly long and the rough was pushing six inches. Awful!

The rough was tall and full of weeds and the fairway was tall as well. The fairway looked like the first cut of rough. Please cut shorter. This will speed up play. I lost two balls in the first cut. That shouldn’t happen at most courses.

Honestly never played a course in worse shape. It was like they hadn't mowed the grass in a month and mowed it the morning I played. Clumps of grass shavings everywhere.
