North at Maple Lane Golf Club

This is a basic flat course north of Detroit. Back 9 Has more character than front. Greens in good condition, fairways and tee boxes need help. Land for course is quite flat. Course is worth a play if other local options exhausted.

The fairways needed to be cut. Too many weeds in the fairway. The greens were in excellant condition and were fast. I gave the course a higher rating in the past but not this time. We did not see the cart girl until we were almost finished on a hot day. The main reason you pick this golf course is price and availability they have 3 sets of 18 hole courses so you don't need a tee time.

Terrible course conditions. Not sure when they last mowed. Fairway grass was terribly long and the rough was pushing six inches. Awful!

The rough was tall and full of weeds and the fairway was tall as well. The fairway looked like the first cut of rough. Please cut shorter. This will speed up play. I lost two balls in the first cut. That shouldn’t happen at most courses.

Honestly never played a course in worse shape. It was like they hadn't mowed the grass in a month and mowed it the morning I played. Clumps of grass shavings everywhere.

I can honestly say I will never play here again. The course was in awful shape and you would think they don't even know what a grounds crew is. The fairways were non-existent as they were the same length, and in some spots longer, than the actual rough. The whole round we were hitting out of rough-length grass. No yardage markers on any tee boxes and while going to each tee there is nothing showing the layout of the hole, hazards, etc.

The greens were extremely inconsistent and were about the length that the fairways should have been. Overall it was an awful experience and the round couldn't end soon enough. You could not pay me to go back to this place. Don't waste your money.

Got a great deal on golf now. $13 including cart for nine holes! Goat track course but had fun! Must say greens were in great shape.

On several occasions now, I paid the bargain rate on different courses for the 1:30 pm tee time. I do not know if it is intentional, but every time I've make the turn I was cut in front of by league play, several weeks back, and the slowest foursome yesterday. I called the club house, the person I spoke with stated he would notify the starter, but I saw no action.

Tree lined fairways, some need to be trimmed ,greens are in great shape and there are three courses to choose from.

The "shooting gallery" has matured. The trees are tall and the course is in good shape, with excellent greens, making this once sketchy course, challenging, fun and a great value.

This used to be a go to course when you just felt like swingin em for cheap. All of a sudden, they changed management and decided to double/triple their prices while disallowing any wiggle room in the now strict pricing. I used to golf Maple Lanes very often when it was cheap, but now, I can golf courses 10 times better for what they charge.

The course was swamped with golfers and the starter sent me on a different course than what I paid to play which helped out tremendously! He was extremely helpful and guided me to the best areas to avoid what I heard to be upwards of a 20 minute wait at times.
