Fun time
Me and my buddies golf 9 holes ones a week during the week. We bounce from a few course but you can’t beat Sylvan at all. It’s a nice course and kept up well. Even being the fall the course is still playing well and nice. The leaves are cleaned up well also. Would recommend and play again. Also you can’t beat $20 for a cart and 9 holes during the week.
Great course to play
I've been here many times and its always a great time. Everyone's friendly and the course is gorgeous. Pro shop is stocked with a bunch of stuff at decent prices too. Love this course!
Very slow
It was very well maintained the only problems were they only had one set of tees out, the tee boxes need some time to heal, and they need to stop having so many tee times. The majority of the time is spent waiting on one sometimes two groups to hit before you can continue
Tee Boxes need work
The only thing I had an issue was the tee boxes were a lot tore up and needed some work or needed to be moved so those areas could be worked on.
Non family players sharing a car
This course golf carts do not have a separation panel between the seats, and players have to share the cart with no option.
Terrible customer service for people how pay through Golfnow
I live this course, I play almost every week here but today the customer service sucks.
Dan was in the pro shop and I ask for one extra golfer (already pay for one through golf now) and he was “I need your last name this is what we got, we can’t add more players this is pre pay you need to call and they refund you” that never happens to me here they are usually very friendly, anyway I just move on and go to other course.
Miserable experience.
Did not finish a round that started at 3 pm Due to darkness. 3-1/2 hours for 9 holes. 15 minute wait on every tee box. Felt like I was ripped off. Tried to get a rain check or half my greens fees back after the first 9 holes but was told the manager was gone for the day and no one else can do that. Plus. Not a ranger in site the whole day to push things along. Best entertainment of the day was sitting 4 groups deep on the third tee and watching the 5th group on the second green get hit into By the 6th and a near fistfight ensuing. Miserable experience
Ridiculously SLOW!!!
One of the worst golf experiences I’ve EVER had!! My tee time was 4:50. I actually teed off early (4:45) because the group ahead of me didn’t show. At 6:45 I had just finished the 7th hole!!! YES, it took me 2 hours to play 7 holes. No rangers came out to help with pace of play. The threesome in front of me were hitting more than one ball and would spend 5-7 minutes looking for their balls. No way they should be backed up like that...and remember, the group scheduled in front of me did not show so I could only imagine how much slower it would have been if they did. I could t get any rhythm with sometimes waiting 20 minutes in between swings. I just left after the 7th hole, I could t take it anymore. Waste of a beautiful Saturday afternoon that should have been a fun round of golf and a waste of $40
Great casual golf course
Not so hard that you want to break your club not so easy that you shoot under 90. Pace of play can get bad sometimes from newbies and weekend casual golfers but overall it doesn’t get awful. Best rangers at Sylvan always accommodating and Friendly. Fairways and greens can get a little beat up sometimes but never awful.
