Pleasant golf, but thé rented golf clubs wasn’t vers good. Take tour bag!
Golf in March... in Michigan!
It’s impossible to give a bad review after playing a pleasant nine holes in the first half of March. Considering the snow has just recently melted, the course is in great shape. A lot of people had the same idea as my group, so it was on the busy side, but staff was very friendly and place of play was good.
Good Value
Decided to play this course since it was open the first week of March. For the money it was a very enjoyable round. Good conditions for early spring. Not overly difficult but challenging with the wind.
The geese have taken over
My wife and I had an early tea time. We started off behind one threesome and kept up with them quite easily. Some of the holes were badly soiled by goose poop and I can't help but think that the poop could be collected and used as fertilizer in some of the tea boxes that are quite worn out. All in all we completed 18 in four and a half hours walking. The next time we are in the area will try the other municipal course in Troy.
Excellent Conditions
Greens were immaculate and leaves were cleared that morning, helping keep pace and spirits up
