Glacier Club

It was my first time at Glacier.

Overbooked, rushed and lots of construction causing a distracted play.

The course was in rough shape. No one fixes divots and it shows. Greens were rough for the same reasons. However, the worst part about this course is they book tee times 6 minutes apart. My tee time was 8:18am. We arrived at the first tee box at 8:10 and there were already 4 groups waiting to play. We didn't tee off till 8:45 and waited at every tee box.

6 minute tee times is an awful policy. As long as that policy is in place I will never golf here again. (It's not worth what they charge anyway)

2nd time in a row I have played there 5+ hour rounds. Rangers need to enforce pace of play!

Good - The new management has improved the golf course condition. The staffs are great and friendly.

Bad - The pace of play needs to be better.

The course is nice, you need to play it once to learn it though. Lots of small, elevated greens and blind shots. It took 5 1/2 hours to play 18 on a Sunday in August, which is typical for this course.

The new management is doing a great job in making the golf course better. Staff members are always helpful and friendly. A must play golf course

As an admitted hack golfer (!!), it is always a challenge but I shot my best round here yesterday. No complaints at all, over the times I've played here. As retired guys, we golf here whenever we can find a deal!

Course was very challenging and required perfect shot placement. Not recommended for beginner.

In addition, the construction cranes and dirt mounds everywhere are not the most picturesque view.

Nice course, will be back . Only big down fall is you can hit a nice shot land on the greens and it rolls off! You will still have to fix the ball mark just don't get the result you wanted.

2.hrs 40 min to finish 9. Skipped around a little on back then left!!! I fixed at least 100 ball marks , no one replaced diviots, others just refused to pick up their ball after x anount of strokes!! (The entire Staff was very nice ). The course has many Beautiful holes! Need to push people to repair ball marks or have someone doing it!! ! Great rate Last time I played it was the year it opened. Many years ago!! I play 4 to 7 days a week.

We arrived at 6:40am for a 7 am tee time, and found the place vacant and locked. A couple other golfers showed up and we waited until about 6:50 for anyone to arrive. They had to unlock the clubhouse, and unlock the golf carts (not covered so a wire cable and padlocks go around the fleet). The guy was friendly, but not going out of the way to be social. We finally teed off around 7:10, with no coffee, or anything else ready at the time. On the turn there was no hot dogs or food other than some muffins in the pro shop. Great course, disappointing service.

Course was in great condition and a good price. Only small complaint, they did not have reflectors on the pins and many sprinklers were not marked so it was difficult to get accurate yardage. I did ask the manager about reflectors and he just told me that people steal them. (Lame excuse)

Everything is maintained well. Especially the greens. They are pretty fast and fun to putt on. Nothing really jumps out at me as being great. I really don't like the 10th and 18th holes that run parallel to their range. 18 wasn't too bad, but 10 was littered with range balls. I didn't feel very safe playing it. Played on a hotdeal from Golfnow, but probably won't be back.

For the area, this is a better track than most. I play basically at every SE MI course and for a close drive and under $50 on weekends this course is worth it. It is well kept and the greens are quite challenging.
