Great course!
Headwaters is a beautiful course! The fairways are like carpet. The greens are fast!!. Love the new patio.
Beautiful Course
Pace of play excellent, course in great shape...greens extremely fast...Love this course!
Wonderful greens and fairways
Windy day, but did not affect play much because of all the tree lined fairways.
Carved through the woods
This is a great course. Big boomers might suggest that some holes are too short but no one can argue about the conditions of this course. We played inside 4 hours. The greens were in great condition and they were fast. The fairways were in excellent condition as well. They have a nice little clubhouse and outside patio, coolers for beverages on the carts and the carts were electric too, a welcomed silence. Be careful where you hit it on the greens, above the hole is an immediate challenge for putting. The par threes are memorable and the par 5s give nice opportunities for a birdie. No doubt this course is the best bang for the buck that I’ve played in the state. Get out and enjoy this northern MN gem.
One of my favorite courses anywhere.
Headwaters is a gorgeous course winding through the pine and birch treess. The conditions are always great, and the layout is one that you'd be happy to play every day. The greens are fairly fast, and roll beautifully. You'll find nice elevation changes, a par 3 over water, and plenty of chances to grip it and rip it.

Great Day of Golf
Course conditions were good for time of year and course layout, while not overly challenging, made for a very enjoyable round.
The Best
The best course in northern Minnesota by far. If you want to play on a course that is well maintained and a great value head up here.
Beautiful course!
Overall the best course I have played!! Conditions were great and the gorgeous pine trees on every hole enhanced the experience. I love playing here!
