I can not say enough positive things about this course. The fairways are like carpet! Be sure to hit ‘‘em straight to you can experience the fairways 😉

This was our first time at this course. We really liked the layout and how well the greens were kept! I would recommend this place to other golfers. The only thing is that for a new golfer the pace of play would be a little rushed. I had one new golfer with me and we felt rushed due to others behind us.

Headwaters is by far the nicest course in this area. Beautiful holes and conditions and value for the money. Only downside this day was an unadvertised tournament that had a very adverse effect on the pace of play. Sometimes there were 3 groups waiting on a hole! It’s not usually like this, if it was I wouldn’t have given it a 5.

One of the nicest courses I have ever played. I’ve played in CO, Hawaii, Bully Pulpit. Just saying!😎. I/we will definitely be back!

Very nice golf course. Very fast greens. Fairways were perfect. All 4 of us enjoyed it. I hope to be back soon.

This place is absolutely amazing. The golf course is one of the best courses in the state. Tee boxes,fairways, greens are just perfect. The greens roll true and fast. Then the new update to the clubhouse and that amazing patio with the outside bar just put this place over the top! Can't wait to come back!

Great course for vacationing families. Challenging but very playable. One of the most beautiful courses I have played.

Headwaters is one of the best courses I play in MN! The fairways are generous and you can find your ball if you do hit it in the woods. The greens are quick but rolled true. The new patio is a great place to have a beverage after the round. I highly recommend it!

Course and staff were awesome. Other golfers did not keep a very good pace of play, nor did they let others play through.

I love playing Headwaters golf course. Overall I still think it’s the most beautiful course in this whole area of northern Minnesota. The holes are challenging enough for good players and very playable for those who are mediocre golfers. A cold beer in the remodeled bar area is a great way to end the round!

Pone of my favorite courses to play. Greens in terrific condition. Fairways are lush. Love the new patio with new furniture and outdoor bar.

My only complaint was the people wouldn’t let me play through. First group I caught did immediately. Then I waited for a twosome every shot for 3-4 holes till they caught up to a foursome and then they tell me it’s all backed up. Needed a Ranger to pick up pace of play. Could’ve played the course twice in the time it took waiting for them.

My family and I visit Park Rapids annually. Headwaters is a place we play annually. The course is in outstanding condition. The new patio is gorgeous and makes the turns and trip over to Hole 13 more enjoyable. We were very disappointed in the staff. It started with the person that checked us in. There was no welcome, seemed annoyed at having to check us in, and failed to give us cart keys. While on the course the “player assistant” came by at hole 7. The pace of play was doing great. He asked what tee time we were, no comment beyond that, and then drove away. The next hole is a par 3 that was playing long due to wind. My brother happened to hit a ball short in the rough. There were no rips, signs, or notes on the scorecard you couldn’t drive out to the ball. The player assistant came out and shouted at us that we needed to be on the path for that hole. While on the green the same employee drove right through where we were, not great to do something you just told us we could not do. I would absolutely recommend the course to anyone but we were very disappointed in the staff’s friendliness and overall actions.

Headwaters is an excellent course to play for all skill levels. Outdoor area patio newly remodeled and is breath taking! Course views from patio encompasses 3 greens while you enjoy a meal or beverage.
