Things I liked:
- Conditions were fine. Greens were a bit scruffy, and bunkers had pebbles in them, but overall the course was in good shape.
- Had a few interesting holes (#6 and #13, for example), but for the most part the course is just there. I guess the view to the north of #17 is the postcard moment of the course.
Things I did not like:
- Though I didn’t find many things to be exceptional or noteworthy about this course, I also don’t have any dislikes either. Great local course, but I’m not sure I would travel too far to play it.
Things important to me:
- Rates are posted on their website.
- Took a cart. This course could be walked, but there are plenty of hills to wear your legs out.
- Don’t recall any water coolers being out on the golf course.
- Cool branded ball marker!
Worth playing
We enjoyed around, a decent value for the money. Nothing too spectacular, but we enjoyed the day.
The Calm after the Storm
We had our golf date the day after a bad storm blew down several large trees on the course. The greens and cart paths were already cleared and there were many people working to remove the downed trees from the treelines. Although it was less than peaceful we enjoyed our day very much. It is clear that the personnel and owners of this course care greatly about their golf course!

A nice ciurse that was in very good condition despitr drought in Minnesota June 2023.
A good variety of holes and elevation changes.
I highly recommend driving to the course from the west. The drive between Zumbro Falls and the course is one of the most beautiful in MN.

Had a good round, some minor work being done on the course but greens are in great shape. Would definitely recommend!
Great day
Tough course. First time I played course in 15 yrs. Course has a lot of blind shots, tough rough. Would be interesting to play again now that I know the course and better idea where to hit shots
