Eagle Valley Golf Course

A great variety of golf holes, very challenging and fair. Greens smooth and fast. I'll be back!!!

We played on a very hot day but still had a great time because the course was challenging but fair. The staff was friendly and the beverage cart kept us hydrated.

Best round I've ever played. Par 5 s were great, set up perfect for smart play.

I played Eagle Valley for the first time this past Labor Day weekend. It is a nice course, good staff, and overall was an enjoyable experience.

The only real frustration I had was that the greens were not the same great condition level as the rest of the course, in my opinion. While not entirely the fault of the grounds crew, nearly every green was pock-marked with poorly repaired (or completely non-repaired) ball marks that made it quite difficult for putts to hold their intended line. In addition, it seemed that the greens overall were not cut to the same length, as putts rolled with different speeds on a number of different holes. Difficult to develop a consistent feel this way.

Aside from that, this is a great course. I noticed that there were a number of rangers on the course - perhaps they could politely remind groups to repair their ball marks, as I'm sure this would greatly improve the overall quality of the greens.

A really nice option in the Twin Cities. Not very picturesque with a lot of houses around the course, but a well designed layout by Joel Goldstrand. Always in nice condition. Too bad city muni course in Mpls and St. Paul couldn't be this nice. And the price at Eagle Valley is about the same as the muni's.

Very nice course. Well manicured and excellent layout. My only complaint is the condition of the greens. They seemed to be extremely beat up from ball marks that weren't repaired quick enough.

I have played this course before and keep coming back. It is always in good shape especially the greens, smooth and they roll faster than average. It is challenging but has only two forced carries, both of which have bail out options.

They really work on the pace of play and it is usually around 4:20 to get 18 in. My only warning would be to walkers, there are a few long walks between holes on the back 9, but you will otherwise enjoy this course!

Visiting from out of town for a wedding, a buddy and I figured we'd play a local course. Excellent from the get go with outstanding service in the pro shop, to quick service in the kitchen! The course played wonderful, soft and spongy greens that held your approach shots. Course was in beautiful condition but also kept you in check if you hit it into the tall stuff. Only way you're finding an errant ball is if you step on it! Loved our experience at Eagle Valley and would definitely go again should we be in MN in the future!

We always enjoy playing this course. It has more than enough difficulty for us from the white tees but is very fair. The price point is very reasonable given it includes a cart. We will be back at some point during the summer.

Played this course for the first time and it was in fantastic condition. Plenty of challenging shots, along with some par 3s that provided ample birdie chances. Unlike others, I appreciated the rangers keeping the pace moving along. I will absolutely be back to play a round in the near future.
