West/South at Sycamore Hills Golf Club

I had a 4 PM tee off on a Friday… Playing west to south. Teed off on the west and literally there was no wait until I got to the seventh hole… A twosome let me play through and again no wait and finish west 9. Move over to the south Teebox and three groups in front of me waiting on a group in the fairway waiting on a group on the green and then a group on the next T. What the ?!? How do you over book the back nine on your twilight round. Why isnt everyone going off on the west? why are people going off on the south and your over booking? Poorly managed… I end up not playing the back nine because I’ll be waiting over 20 minutes hit

I like the course itself but seems like the tee times are too close together. Every time I play here I seem to get stuck behind at least 4 groups on the back nine and have to wait 15 minutes between shots.

I played 9 in the morning before the leagues started. Course was in good condition. I like that o can get out as a solo to get some swings in and play at a steady pace at that time. I liked the west course set up the best.

Most of the course was in good shape they were still some burnout parts from their flood. The starter should have but groups of one and two together, talk to him that it turned out to be a very long route

Sycamore Hills is a great place to play. It can be a bit pricey so definitely take advantage of deals. I play solo quite a bit and this is one of the few places that doesn’t give you a hard time for being a solo player and doesn’t try to pair you up. Course is in really good shape and depending on what 9 you play a decent all around challenge.

Doesn’t handle water. I think I should get a refund or replay

Drainage was so poor half on the south course that the holes had whole portions of the fairways missing. One hole shutdown completely and turned from a Par 5 into a mediocre Par 3 with a jank tee box. Not sure why they’re sending people onto the south if it’s in this bad of shape when you have 27 holes. Wouldn’t recommend until they get that in line, or atleast request to play west and north.

Didn’t get to finish 18, the staff let leagues tee off early and we didn’t get to make the turn. We paid in advance and we are a 2-some that plays fast, we were constantly waiting at every hole. This course is garbage.

They let us book a twosome for 18 at 1:36pm. Pace of play had us making the turn just before 4pm and they let the league tee off before us telling us to take a rain check for 9.

The coarse was in very good shape. It wasn’t nearly as wet as I thought it would be, especially with the rain we received the last couple nights. I do like playing Sycamore Hills. They keep the coarse in good condition and the rates are very reasonable

Went out at 8 a.m on a Saturday. Course decided to shotgun start an outing 3-4 holes in front of the regular scheduled groups. Our two groups started playing as an 8 some (2 foursomes scramble) after both groups having to wait 10 minutes at every box. The ranger threatened to throw us off the course because we were “slowing” the course. Even though there was a 6 some playing behind us but that was okay because they “aren’t slowing anyone down”. Split up and continued to wait with the group in front of us and our two groups at every box. Take your 50 dollars and play elsewhere.
