Value Track
$25 Rate for a nice course. Greens were decent but not great. Overall good value
Sycamore golf outing
Great round of Golf at a good price!
The weather was amazing and course condition were great!
Slow pace/organization poor/
Tee time at 6:48. North to West. Make the turn in just under 2 hours to find 4 groups in front of us. Also had a single playing up our backs right from hole 1. Wasn’t going to let him play thru because 3 other 4 somes were in front of us. Organization of tee times and pace of play are brutal here. This happens every single time at this course. For 54 dollars on a Saturday morning Ill start looking for somewhere else to play. Course is nice but not for that nonsense.
Too many tee times
I played by myself and was held up so I joined a 2 some and was still held up the entire round
Sycamore Hills
Great pace of play, course in pretty good conditions. Greens did vary largely in speed from hole to hole.
Overbooked and out of control
We have been golfing at Sycamore for years and it has unfortunately gone downhill. The course is wonderful but so overbooked and below average golfers on a Sunday morning. Almost a 3 hour round for 9 holes. Thankful our money was refunded because we would have never used a voucher to come back. The ranger advised us to not bother golfing on Sundays there because it has been like that all summer. Very unfortunate.
Bad greens
Nice course and good layout but course was poor draining and the greens were in terrible shape. Burned out, in need of a good rolling too. I was embarrassed to bring my out of town guests here.
Over booked
Second time we’ve gone and it was extremely overbooked. We where the first group off and go to make the turn and there is 4 foursomes in front of us!
Good course and is in good condition
A little pricey, but it’s better than most of the local courses so it’s reasonable. It’s in good condition and challenges you with some turns off the tee.
Midweek golf
Played Sycamore Hills midweek in the morning. Even though the course was crowded we were able to finish in just about 4 hours. The course was in above average condition.
