6.5 Hr round?? unacceptable
Stay away I should of listened to all of the previous reviews for this year. The greens were the worst I've ever played. No chance in making a putt outside of 2 ft. Pace of play was awful. Round took 6.5 hrs to play with 2-4 groups waiting to tee off at every hole. I don't know why courses think that this 8 minute tee time rotation is a good system. Not to mention double booking. Bad experience to try and get out for a relaxing round of golf.
Early Tee time
Course Management poor had 6 groups of two at the same tee time and would not group them together. Tee times to close togehter pack to many people on course. Tee time 8am did not tee off until 8:30. The greens are also in poor shape course should not be charging full price and with river flooding course a lot of the fairway has no grass.
Great course with horrible greens, which isn't the norm
I played there at 8 am fri. morning and was looking forward to a nice round with my brother and a friend. It was a great day for golf , but every green was so horrible you could add a stroke per hole for the poor greens.
Great layout - greens need work
Overall it was in good shape. Several of the greens, just like other courses, were marginal. They are better than 4 weeks ago when we played. I will play again
Course greens need major repair!
My partner and I played the South /West 9's, and Course layout is not bad if you don't mind lots of tree lined fairways and parallel fairways. The greens were in bad shape, in fact you would be hard pressed to say the word "green" as many were scarce of grass and had more dirt than green. Not only were they in bad shape but they were not cut, and grass was growing over edges of cups. Fairway divets not repaired.
Probably will not play again since there are so many other MI courses in the price range of $25 to $40 which are in a lot better shape.
