Absolute worst rangers/ golf staff I’ve ever dealt with..
I live just over an hour from the course and I finally took the drive out for an early tee time on a Sunday morning.
We were approached on the 15th hole with the ranger basically yelling at us that we were 4 holes behind and “holding up the whole course”
We then went on to catch up to a group on the next hole.
We played 18 holes in 4 hours and 15 minutes. I understand keeping the course moving but I’ve also been golfing long enough to understand pace of play and to me this is unacceptable.
Seems they are just pushing their paying customers to accommodate their greed and squeeze in 8 minute tee times.
I will not be returning and I urge anyone looking to ENJOY a round of golf to stay away.
Rates seem decent but add $10 to whatever your rate is for park entry fees,
There’s much, much better golf for that price in the area.
Great Golf Experience
Everything about the golf and the golf experience was great.
Only negative was to pay the $10-00 park entrance fee just to get to the golf course. 😕
Enjoyable Day
Course was in good condition for this time of the year in Michigan. Always plays long but is forgiving
Great find and we’ll kept.
Booked somewhat last minute and had no issues. Friendly staff and course in great condition!
Uncaring Management
Golf course is OK, but personnel/management has too much ego to hear complains! Played this course numerous times and often their outside course bathroom are LOCKED during play time. Called n complained that there are a lot of players (men and women) in the course and I have seen male players going to trees to pee! The one who answered said he will tell the manager who is in the office but until we finished our round the front n back restrooms were still lock! This manager MUST BE FIRED FOR DETELICTION OF DUTY! Is he a moron not knowing exposing yourself to pee is a misdemeanor! How about women players!! This happened last year too! They MUST NOT RUN A GOLF COURSE wherein players are professional people. For sure, NO PLAY FROM OUR LEAGUE in Kensington Metropark!!
