Kensington Metropark

First time I have played here in a long time and it still is a great track and the value with the golf now app hot deal couldn’t be beat. Its a very playable course and it was in great shape for late in the year. One big bummer was that they charge $10 to get into the metro park before you can get into the golf course parking lot.

Also surprised at how many golfers they pushed out onto the course on a Monday in November when the temp hovered under 60 degrees! Pace was pretty slow but good day regardless..

Course is in great shape for this time of year. Leaves have fallen so course is clean.

Extremely foggy morning round. Still had an awesome experience on the course. Well maintained, and cannot best for the price. Only negative is paying an extra 10$ for the day pass at the metro park. Will for sure be back

Still a good place and value for the money. The rating would be higher except lost too many balls under the fallen leaves, even though they were still playable.

Only downside is that you still have to pay park gate fee’s. We saw a number of deer on course which was nice.

The course and it’s layout are awesome. Initially I was concerned about the pace of play . There were several foursomes lined up at the #1 tee box. I was pleasantly surprised at the pace of play after teeing off. The clubhouse rivals that of a private club. The restroom facilities were spotless. After a bratwurst and a beer, we were on our way to the back nine. The course is well manicured and the holes are challenging and fast. My only complaint is the $10 fee for entering the park. I feel that this fee should be waived for golfers.

I know they’ve struggled with staffing, but they need a marshal enforcing pace of play. Our front 9 took 3 hours, luckily the group ahead of us only played 9. The course is in phenomenal shape, greens are firm and fast. Although it’s not a very long course, it’s still a challenge, especially with all the long par 3’s. If not for pace to of play I’d give it 5 stars.

Course in great shape. Played 18 as a twosome in 4 hours. Good value. Restrooms need cleaning and refurbishing greatly; terrible condition.

Beautiful course and I found to be very challenging. Thick rough narrow fairways but simply beautiful and very well kept. Like walking on carpet!

Staff was friendly in accommodating me, a single golfer. Pace was only a minor concern as the group I was paired with preferred to let me golf in front, so as a single, I was mildly delayed. All in all, the course was in great shape and a challenge, even from the white tee position.

No Kensington, I will not "pair up" with the next tee time and play together. Get this dumb idea out of your brain. How about you get a clue and not schedule tee times every 90 seconds? Speaking of which, nearly 7 hours on a weekday for 18 holes of golf is OBSCENE. Physically, it's a nice, well maintained course that's ruined by clubhouse mis-management. And by the way, none of this is new. I played Kensington a decade ago and it was the same nonsense. Won't be back.

Great conditions. It’s a nice course and very well taken care of. Pace is OK…sometimes it can be really slow. Honestly my only compliant is the highway, I just can enjoy a round of golf with that much noise.
