Kensington Metropark

Kensington is always a fun course with deceptively tricky greens and well kept grounds. They pay close attention to pace of play adding to the enjoyment of this well priced course.

Booked a 6:00 pm time to play nine or whatever we could get in. No course marshals, this slow play and tank top wearing goons out playing and drinking heavily. Not a fun experience to play nine in a bit over 2.5 hours. Won’t be back for that again

confusion on what we payrd for. golfpass had a cart fee on our booking but the course said they cant do that. So not sure what cart fee meant!

Pace of play was great 18 holes in 4 hours. Course was in great shape, greens were rolling trueand fast

Would be one of the better courses in the area if you didn’t have to pay the park entry fee.

Nice layout and greens were fast and pretty good shape. course fairways and around green were too hard. Different length tees are good for different caliber of golfers!

Unfair to pay $10 per car to enter park just to golf

Very nice course, and reasonably price except paying a park fee to play. I think the park fee should be waived if golfing.

Paired me up with another tee time prior. 2 hours for 6 holes is crazy. Staff is rude also

Overall a great public course. The tee boxes were in good condition and even had broken tee containers. The carts were in good order and several well placed bathrooms. The only downside was the pace, if you’re a beginner, you will have a hard time keeping up. Also, beautiful wildlife: deer, cranes, turkeys, geese, etc.

The course was better than I remember. The staff inside at the turn was not receptive to making food at the turn. The course was playing slow and the groups behind us were playing slower by the turn. If you are offering food “a grilled cheese” should be able to be made within 8-10 minutes. I didn’t want a sandwich which was pre made the day before.

$8.00 for a leftover sandwich has no value for me.
