Golfer Reviews
Beautiful day
I noticed how quiet the course was, it was because there were no gas carts. Nobody was pushing me or hitting in to me, again, no carts. What a great experience. Sunny day, nice walk. Couldn’t have been better. The way golf should be
Always well manicured
Love this course. Even when playing this late in the year, everything was in good condition.
Great little Track!
Wonderful layout. Tons of fun!! Shot 77 in the winds from tips at 6625. Greens slower but roll nice. Fun and simple course for most players. Still some tough holes like number 11. If you have never played its a fun course. Generally wide open too with generous room tee to green.
Fun golf
An extremely well maintained public course. Hard fast fairways and difficult green complexes. The only negative would be the lack of a tee box between 5200 and 6300 yards. The green fees are very reasonable.
Great course
My husband and I golf here all the time great layout
My Go To
I've been going to Kensington for almost two years now and it's been a great experience every time I've gone.
The course is always in great condition, the staff recognize the frequent players (even throw in discount every now and again), and the course while straight forward has enough variables to make it a challenge. There's also a shooting range across highway 96 so teeing off on the 4th with gunfire in the background is hilarious.
Great for both new/casual and experienced players alike. The only issue I've had is that at times the rate of play has been really bad and has turned 9 holes into a 3 hour game. This can make playing 18 a 5 hour game. If the staff ensured a steady rate of play then Kensington would be perfect in every way.
4/5 one of my favorite courses in the area.
favorite metropark
i visit my daughter in Brighton every year from PA.. usually play Huron Meadows. Decided to play Kensington. so glad I did! Tighter more a shot makers course. greens were immaculate ... so nice to be able to roll putts. absolutely love this course!
Great price, real good challenge!
This course is very good, always in great shape, the staff is friendly, and always a good challenge.
Great course
This was my first time playing this course and I would highly recommend it.
Good Course
This is one of my favorite courses to play in this area. It is very well maintained and has been in great condition every time I've played it. I can't say it's a great value. You probably get what you pay for. In addition to greens fees, you'll have to pay $2 to get into the Metropark if you don't have the annual pass ($10 to get in and then they take $8 off of your greens fees). It has also been busy every time I have played it. The most recent time, I paid $25 for twilight and got in 12 holes before dark.
All in all, I would recommend this course, especially if you can find a deal or play at a time when it is less busy. It is challenging, just because of the length of some of the holes, but is also very playable for most golfers.
Pace super slow
Course is nice for the money but no one out here pushing the pace of play. Current starting hole number 4 and 1 hour in already. Planned on playing 18 but I will only play 9 based on this pace
