Kensington Metropark

Well maintained...love playing here

Nice weather and a beautiful course equals awesome golf in Michigan.

I always enjoy playing Kensington ,the back nine especially some holes over look the lake ,occasionally you will even see deer roaming about.The coarse was in great condition and the weather was perfect had a great round

I found the course very well maintained and all the staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions!

Great course. Would like to see friendlier staff that enjoys what they do.

We liked everything about the course except that they need to build new tee boxes for the gold tees. Something that would be about 5700-5800 yards.

Course was in excellent condition.

I was born and raised in the SE MI, and lived within 5 miles of Kensington for over 10 years. I played Kensington every now and again, but was never really impressed with it, and never considered it as a regular place to play.

This summer, after moving out of state, I was back home visiting family and we decided to play out at Kensington with my teenage son. Wow, was I impressed. First, the clubhouse has completely been re-done and is now very, very nice. Second, the course condition was fantastic. Greens were perfect, rolled very nicely and were relatively fast. In fact, after playing another course in the area the same week, one that was much more expensive and relatively highly regarded, I was even more impressed to see the condition of Kensington. So much so that I played it again before leaving MI.

If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive track, with a decent layout in very nice condition, Kensington fits the bill.

Great shape for public course. Staff very good. Only need to pair people into foursomes.

Course is always challenging and always in great shape. Play use to be a little slow but this time we played in 3:20 for a threesome, not bad at all. Course plays long from the whites so be ready for a challenge if you can't drive straight and long.

Played with my wife as 2 sum. Due to week day good pace to play, so no big waiting time and enjoyed play.

Me and the Mrs simply wanted to get away from our usual golf courses and this turned out to be great a choice! facilities were very well maintained and clean. Personnel were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Walkers kind of slowed us up after the first 9 but thats OK as we were not in a rush to get home.
We will be back!

I love this course. It helps that it is only a 10 minute drive for me. I bought the annual park pass just so I could take advantage of the Golfnow Hot Deals. Fairly open fairways, just a little lengthy for average tee shots. Scenic with wildlife. Nice, good size greens.

I was extremely surprised to see a metropark in such great condition, fairways are very big and greens were in great condition. The par 4's are all pretty long though for the average player, only 1 less than 350 yards.
