Fast greens that don’t surrounded by tall grass that needed cutting

My brother and I were in town from Michigan. We had played the course before, but were just going to hit the driving range because we didn’t make a tee time. I asked if there was room to play 9, and the pro shop said we could get right out. The starter was a jerk prior to teeing off, but whatever, didn’t think we would have to see him again. The course was wet, so it was cart path only. On the second hole, my brother pulled his drive to the far side of the first hole. I ended up crossing a small patch of rough, that wasn’t wet, and drove down cart path on 1 so he could play his shot. The starter drove all the way out to yell at us, about cart path only, even though I was on the cart path for 99% of the time. While he was being a jerk to us, we were on the cart path, he was parked on the grass, all the while other carts weren’t sticking to the cart path. There are “rules”, and there is common sense, which this guy had 0 of. So, we picked up, grabbed our refund, and the course lost out on hundreds of dollars from us ( additional merchandise, plus scheduled tee times for Friday-Saturday). I reiterate, where I left the path was the rough, at the most narrowest point to get to the corresponding cart path, and the cart didn’t even leave tire tracks. Needless to say, my family and I will never go back, but the guy in the shop was very pleasant and offered a full refund. Starter was an incredible jerk though. And I state “jerk” cause GolfNow will not allow for profanity

Would have been nice at time of arranging tee time to have been informed of the scheduled league play and its impact on our pace of play. Also the construction work underway on the course. . .

The doglegs make you think about shot selection, and most challenging in KC Spring time wind.

The fairways are all zoysia, great in late spring but not so much early spring with al the wet weather. I was aiming for the rough as it had grass you kid hit off of. I love the course layout but I tend to lose more balls at this course compared to others. They are missing water coolers and ball washers due to the virus of 2020. I brought my own towel and spray bottle to keep my balls and clubs clean.

They really keep the course in good shape. Fun course with friendly staff.

Great little course. For this time of year the conditions were great! Definitely recommend for any casual golfer.

Most of the greens were taken care of. Fairways were just ok. Clubhouse had a strange layout. Pathways were ok except some tee holes had no direction where the next hole was. Most paths have a sign with an arrow pointing which way is the next hole. Some of their holes did but the ones that really needed it didn't. Don't think I will be going back.

Our foursome had two beginners so this course is great with few carry overs on creeks, etc. that make their play harder. Course was in good condition and enough variety in holes to make it interesting for all.

Staff has always been very accommodating especially concerning rain outs and getting us re-booked.

I've been playing golf for quite awhile, and this is as always was a great time and good experience and had a fun easy round. Will play here alot more.
