Pro Shop/Snack bar is okay
Great course for the money. Used my saved golf now points and played as a single on Memorial Day at 12pm.
Course was understandably soggy due to ridiculous amounts of rain so fairways were very soft and not mowed (starting to go to seed). Rough was extremely long and lush so any errant shots were extremely penal.
Greens ran true and appeared to be well maintained. Tee boxes could use some work (patchy and soggy) but again, the rain.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend and feel the course will be outstanding once "monsoon" season is over.

Great shape considering the weather
The area has experienced well above average rainfall for the entire spring.
Course under aeration
Booked this course not knowing that they were aerating it and that the front 9 holes were closed. Had other options that I would have gone with instead had I known this. The staff’s response was “Well, you got a good deal from GolfNow!”
Maybe but that was supposed to be for a full 18 and not 9 twice! They did give me a free bucket of balls at the driving range but only after I asked for it.
I play this course several times a year and generally am very happy with it. Just this time was disappointed.
Great Course

Not to bad.
First time playing this course. Greens are slow, but well manicured and roll true. Shot a 75 today (par 71) for the first time here. I would recommend this to friends for a good beer drinking course. It’s not to challenging and extremely short. Had short irons into all the par 5’s. I will be back as I love to putt on nice greens. If I had it my way, I would have them cut them a little shorter to increase the Speed of the greens, but overall it was a fine day on the course. Looking forward to coming back.
48°....played front nine in 1and 3/4 hours....come to ten tee and and there are two players who did not play front nine.....REALLY...drove down from Minnesota to play and this crap happens... Play shoal Creek instead...
Golfing at Hodge Park
Got the T-time on Golfnow.com. Played with s friend. Therefore, the cost is for 2 people.
LEAVES EVERY WHERE AND RUFF NEEDS MOWED
Lost So Many Balls We Quit Counting Them! Ruff Needs Mowed Very Bad Experience! Sand Bunkers What a Joke ( Mud and a Little River Sand Sprinkled on Top is NOT GOOD)! Course Needs to Get Out Blower to Remove the Leaves!!!! We Were Also Forced to Play With Another Group of Idiot Locals Who Cared More About Their Beer and Cigarettes Which Were Dropping Ashes on the Greens than Actually Playing A Round of Golf!
Fun course to play
This is a fun course to play. The only thing I do not like is when they let groups of five play,it really messes up play. One of The best times I had was a night golf round. What a blast.
Good Course for the Money
Hodge Park is a good municipal course with good course conditions. The startet/Marshall was friendly and courteous. Conditions were good and greens were in good shape. Good value for the money.
Fun Course
Course was fun. Some holes that make you think about playing a shot. I believe I hit most of the clubs in my bag. They do have a little bit of maintenance in progress with a few places having mounds of piled dirt. Just an eye sore more than anything which isn't a big deal given the rest of the course has a few nice nature views.
Too many blind Tee shots
Several holes had a blind tee shot and difficult to find ball,
No signage for hole directions.
Day was very windy.
I woukld recommend this course to friends!
Slow
Never once saw a Marshall. Would have been nice with 3 four-somes in front, playing from blue tees. Had no business doing so. Every hole one or 2 100 yards off tee in woods or whatever. The entire back nine was waiting every shot. Makes it very hard tp play.
Marshalls Are Jerks Here
Sorry But I will NEVER play here again Because of the Marshalls that are Extremely Rude Crude and Impolite Storm Troopers!!! NUFF SAID!!! Extremely Educated Probably Not!!!
Good public course
Good public course. Very well taken care of and maintained. Pace was great on a Sunday holiday weekend afternoon. Never had to wait for more than a few minutes on any tee box, and that only happened twice. Clubhouse is a little dated but had everything you need.

Great course conditions and somewhat challenging layout. Definitely will play again! Highly recommended
