Hodge Park Golf Course

An outstanding layout, the greens were aeriated and not fully healed; however, they were OK. I would definitely play the course again.

Played here on a Thursday morning in mid-March. Was paired up with a very nice local lad, and his local knowledge was very useful. The course is pretty open, with excellent greens, and the ball rolled a long ways on the grass. Several holes were pretty challenging if you got in the wrong place. Excellent fairways to hit from. And the staff was very friendly, unlike a more upscale course I played the day before near Tiffany.

Great course for the money. Course in great shape for end of January.

Tee box ground and greens were frozen but after sub zero temps we were glad to.be out golfing.

Only problem is why is there a tree on the ground on 14. This tree fell down in the Spring of 2017 and it is still there. It doesn't interfere with play but has been an eyesore for way to long. I'm hoping they finally remove it soon!!!!

Fairways were dormant and greens were fast. But I still managed to shoot my best score ever. My second shot on #5 found the green only to have 2 young 10-13 year old boys run on and take my ball. Still had a blast for golfing late December. Fun cours.

Course was in pretty good shape for this time of year. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Weather was very nice but windy. I had one of the best times I have had this day at this course!

Like the title says, great course. Pretty short so built more for the avg player. 6200 from blue i think. Sand traps and water hazards add to the difficulty. Staff is friendly and eager to lend a hand. love coming here!

Course has always been a fun layout and now it is in first class shape since they stripped in zoysia fairways a couple of years ago. Had a great time on a very playable course that is in great shape!

Pace was absolutely terrible. Son and I got behind four 25 plus year olds who were learning golf. I have no problem with that. However driving carts up to the green on par 3'a and talking loud can be rude. We went around them on tee one as after 5 attempts and the ball only went 20 feet. We knew it was going to be a long day behind them. Once around them we hit another wall on #3. Two groups were waiting to tee off at 3. After 3 hours we finished front 9 and that was skipping #1. We went to 10 tee box and it was so backed up we went to hole 1 to play it since we had to skip it earlier. Went ahead and played 1-4 and called it quits. I should know better to play on a Saturday especially in the afternoon. I understand beginners need to practice and that is what was going on.

It's a challenging course but was in great shape. My only concern was that the range was closed before our round. We had a 11:am tee time. Who closes the range for mowing at 11AM!?!? Mow your range early in the morning or late in the evening. Don't close it during your peak hours and prevent people from using it.

I've played this course several times since moving to KC 2 years ago and it rarely disappoints. Not long, but it does have several tricky holes that require strategic placement off the tee. Only 3 sand traps on the entire course and water comes into play on only 3 or 4 holes. Greens are usually very good and zoysia fairways are in fantastic shape. Play it from the blue tees and you'll have a reasonable challenge on your hands. Overall a fun course to play at a very reasonable price.

Really nice Course well maintained. Would love to play it at least once a week

This was my first time playing at Hodge and I liked it. Our tee time was 11:50am and at 11:40am they said we had 3 minutes because the other team before us already teed off - half our foursome had not even showed up yet, so we definintely felt rushed even though we were on the tee right at 11:50am. First hole we were rushed, after that, we hardly saw the team behind us so it was fine. The weather was perfect and the course was in good condition, so overall it was a great day!
