Arid condition
The fairways and tee boxes were in terrible shape! Had to use a hammer to pound in the tee
Not worth the money
Front 9 was ok. The back 9 is horrible short par 4s and par 3s all tucked way to close to each other. Greens all right next to each other. Had to do a lot of waiting on players ahead because of the back 9 so close to each other and short.
Fun course…. But super hot day
8:40 Tee time and the course was very foggy. Played the first 3 holes barely able to follow the ball. Course was pretty empty so I never had to wait. I REALLY like this course! I’m not a big hitter but it will definitely challenge you. Only hole that you can REALLY try to hit a long drive is 5. Course needs work for sure but is very playable. I play a lot alone just because I tend to not plan ahead and this is one of the few courses around that will let a single out. Tee boxes are in rough shape! Greens are playable but many weeds and bare spots. Greens are decent. All in all a very good value and fun to play. Once you learn how to play the course, you can score well. Most par 72 courses, I shoot high 80s. Teetering is the only course in town that I can shoot in the 70s.
Love this course
Best value in town, plays very quick, and friendly.
Okay for the money
Pace of play was slow, about 12 minutes. Could use a marshal.
The weather has been hot and dry in the area. Tees were fine. Greens were fine. Fairways had rough spots. Maintanence is lacking.
NO water available on course. No cart person.
But would play again for that price.
Weed control
Tee Boxes are an absolute mess. From some that are dirt to others not mowed at all. Crabgrass is all over the course. No attempt to control any weeds. Some greens ok. Painted to cover damage. They clearly put no money into the course and that’s why it is 33$ including cart. Sad to see a nice old course with a fun layout just left to rot away.
Teetering Rock
This course is visually beautiful, with plenty of views.
Gets better every time I go out.
Very short, but fun course. Hole three has a elevated tee off a cliff face onto a heart shaped green. Has some rough spots and fairways, but just like the greens, you can tell they're trying to revive them. Carts have GPS, and not much in the way of a pro shop. Kids under a certain age are free, so it's my go to when my little inspiring golfer wants to get a round in with her daddy. My go to for a sub $40 round.
Needs rehab
Fairways were toast, tee boxes were dirt, greens were missing patches.
Overall a value play, but not well maintained. Back 9 was in better shape than the front 9. Back 9 was all par 3’s with a couple par 4’s
Not good.
Apparently due to irrigation issues the course has been unable to water properly. The tee boxes are non existent, the fairways…..well you’d be better off playing from the rough. The greens were ok at best. We quit after 11 holes due to the slow pace of play on the back nine. They were kind enough to refund some of our money but until they fix their issues this course is not playable in my opinion.
Two senior golfers
Cart path only made we 2 seniors tired. Course is somewhat tricky to play until you know where you are going. Some fun holes but course must be learned to correctly hit every shot. 2 lost balls were not knowing what club to hit and where. Very nice people and good carts w/gps.
