PohlCat Golf Course

Course is not worth $50. Rack rate is currently $78. The course conditions have continued to slip in the past few years. Rough had a lot of weeds and the greens were still really bumpy from aeration. It is a good track, although holes 7-12 are really bland. Pace of play was also terrible. We got stuck behind a weekend warrior foursome that wouldn't let us through. No ranger around to tell them to let us pass. There was like five holes open in front of them by time we got out to #8 where you can see the rest of the course.

Had not played in a few weeks and used to Arizona desert courses, so this became a little challenging. Course condition was a little weathered. All in all a nice day.

Course was in good shape for early season. Offered exceptional deal on Golf Now. Enjoyed the round and the clubhouse staff was exceptional considering the current restrictions in Michigan. Play a lot of golf around Michigan and other locations and Pohlcat is a great option, especially with the golf now deal.

Challenging layout, with wide open fairways on the long holes and tight on the short holes. In great condition (except for all the unfixed ball marks on the greens, come on people). We saw hawks, turkeys and herons in this beautiful natural setting just minutes from the casino. One of michigans best.

Great course, quick greens and friendly staff!

We secured a reasonable tee time with the knowledge that a league would be out on the course but shouldn't cause any issues. It took a friend and myself NEARLY FOUR HOURS to play eight holes. We left the course out of frustration. There were no staff to be found to encourage an even remotely reasonable pace of play. There was no way we were going to bother waiting so we could take seven plus hours to play 18.

Course is awesome. With Golf Now hot deal, unbeatable experience. Cloudy misty day kept the crowd down. Played in under 3.5 hours on a beautiful course.

For me, this course is a once or twice a year thing, as the rates are a bit pricey for me, although 60-70 bucks not bad for some people.

The layout is gorgeous. Some of the challenges that awaits are wooded holes and some of the open variety. Absolutely love #2 over the Chippewa River as well as #17. Paid $55 on July 4th which was great value.

The fairways are wide and forgiving for the most part and the greens roll TRUE everytime. Alot of acreage is covered by this layout and I will always try to play here at least once a year.

My husband and I really enjoyed the course. Golfing in the late fall with all the leaves etc... is always challenging and this course was loaded with trees, but we loved it. The fall colors were beautiful. I will golf it many more times.

I really like Polhcat - it was just starting to change colors - I will go back in 2 weeks to see it again.

This is an excellent course and the staff was very friendly. They provided you with playing tips and recommendations. The whole experience was a wonderful way to spend a lovely day.

coarse was in really good shape, great greens, every putt had a curve to it which made it nice, your putting game better be on .

This is one of the nicest courses I played this season with very fast and true greens. When around the Mount Pleasant area I always try to play this track when able to get a good price.

GN offers great deals for Pohlcat in Mount Pleasant and it is worth the drive. The facilities are great and although the course was busy, the staff remained friendly and kept up a great pace of play. The greens here were quick and the majority of the course tee to green was in excellent shape. The course gives a good mix of links-ish holes and tree-lined wooded holes which provided a unique challenge. Not to mention the course is only ~5min from the Soaring Eagle Casino. You can make a great day out of your trip. Will return to "Stalk the Cat" again soon.

1st time playing here. My wife and I played as a 2some with 7:30AM tee time. 2 men teed off at 7AM and we followed right behind. 3 hour round. Very nice design, only negative comment is that on some fairways and some tee boxes, no one uses the sand filler, hence big divots and sod. Greens were nice sized and very fair on their designs, no massive swales or humps. Would definitely play again.
