About
Pohlcat Golf Club in Mount Pleasant has a winding layout that crosses the Chippewa River multiple times. The course sprawls across a diverse landscape that includes mature woodlands, rolling grassy meadows, and natural wetlands. It's a challenging layout with water coming into play on 14 holes and 56 bunkers strategically placed along the tree-lined fairways and greens. The tricky slopes and undulations on the greens, which can range from subtle to dramatic, add another challenging element to the golf course. The unique design goes back and forth between wooded holes and open, links-style holes, offering plenty of variety throughout. In addition to the golf course, there is also a practice facility available that includes a spacious grass range, two putting greens, and a short game area for putting and bunker practice.

Great Course
Take the time to enjoy this course. The conditions are great, the layout is great for all skill levels and the staff treats you phenomenal. This is one of my favorite courses to play. Do yourself a favor and play the Pohlcat!
Fun course
Very fun course to play. Course provided a great level of challenge. Grounds were kept very well. Atmosphere of course was great. Staff was very friendly and very likable. 10/10 would like to come back and 10/10 would recommend to anybody thinking about playing this course. My favorite course around mt pleasant.
ALWAYS GREAT!
The "cat" continues to impress me with their course maintenance. It seems to be in great shape all the time. The golf cart fleet is new(er) as well with on-board GPS which is really a nice feature.
True Greens
Love the layout of this course. GPS on the carts really speeds up the round. The greens are in perfect condition.
Worth it if your willing to sacrifice what you paid for.
Course is not worth $50. Rack rate is currently $78. The course conditions have continued to slip in the past few years. Rough had a lot of weeds and the greens were still really bumpy from aeration. It is a good track, although holes 7-12 are really bland. Pace of play was also terrible. We got stuck behind a weekend warrior foursome that wouldn't let us through. No ranger around to tell them to let us pass. There was like five holes open in front of them by time we got out to #8 where you can see the rest of the course.
Nice Mid Michigan Getaway
Had not played in a few weeks and used to Arizona desert courses, so this became a little challenging. Course condition was a little weathered. All in all a nice day.

Early season golf
Course was in good shape for early season. Offered exceptional deal on Golf Now. Enjoyed the round and the clubhouse staff was exceptional considering the current restrictions in Michigan. Play a lot of golf around Michigan and other locations and Pohlcat is a great option, especially with the golf now deal.
A Michigan top ten for sure.
Challenging layout, with wide open fairways on the long holes and tight on the short holes. In great condition (except for all the unfixed ball marks on the greens, come on people). We saw hawks, turkeys and herons in this beautiful natural setting just minutes from the casino. One of michigans best.
