About
Pohlcat Golf Club in Mount Pleasant has a winding layout that crosses the Chippewa River multiple times. The course sprawls across a diverse landscape that includes mature woodlands, rolling grassy meadows, and natural wetlands. It's a challenging layout with water coming into play on 14 holes and 56 bunkers strategically placed along the tree-lined fairways and greens. The tricky slopes and undulations on the greens, which can range from subtle to dramatic, add another challenging element to the golf course. The unique design goes back and forth between wooded holes and open, links-style holes, offering plenty of variety throughout. In addition to the golf course, there is also a practice facility available that includes a spacious grass range, two putting greens, and a short game area for putting and bunker practice.

Golfer Reviews
Great course!
Course was great but for $60+ 18 I expected better greens. Could just be the season but some of the greens had tons of divots that hadn’t been repaired of fringe areas that were just dirt. Overall great place and good course. Mostly me just being picky. Will play again.
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your time at PohlCat Golf Course. We look forward to seeing you on the course soon for another 5-star experience!

Great course
One of my favorite Mid Michigan courses. The subtle improvements that have been made recently and the attention to details have really brought the course back to spectacular. The course has been in great condition all year and the greens have been rolling phenomenal. I always look forward to my round here. The staff has been very helpful and courteous every time we visit. Very well stocked pro shop with great products. Looking forward to our next visit.
Jabdilla review
We found one restroom on the front at the end of the 7th hole..didn’t find any on the back 9.not particularly fond of trees in middle of the fairway blocking approach on already narrow fairway on 16th

Another great round
This was my 4th or 5th round at The Cat this year and, as usual, the staff was VERY friendly and, more importantly, the course was in FANTASTIC condition. I hope I can get one more round in this year at The Cat before the snow flies!!!
Great falls golf
Course was in great condition and you could tell it is well maintained.
There were plenty of golfers on the course
in groups of 2 and 4 but play was not slow. Just well paced.
