Work in progress
Greens and most fairways are pretty good.
Tee boxes are a mixed bag for men. Most of the ladies tees are greatly in need of attention. They aren’t maintained nearly as well as the men’s.
The sand traps are pretty much dirt. They say they are rebuilding them, but I’ve only seen one rebuilt this whole year.
The cart paths are mostly rough.
The layout is a good challenging course. Some fair challenges and some that can be gotten. I’m about a 15 handicap, so you can temper the amount of challenge if you’re a low handicap. A higher handicap may need to move up to gold tees.
Good value
The fairways where really thick they definitely needed cut, when you have trouble finding your ball in the fairway they need cut. The greens where in good shape. But no fault to the course there was a group of 3 in front of us and 1 person then a group of 6 in front of him. The group of 6 was freaking horrible no golf etiquette whatsoever they would let you play through the 2 groups in front of us skipped holes just to go around them. We had enough and we skipped a hole to go around them. Besides that the course was in decent shape and the staff was good.
90 degree? Needs water
The course was in decent shape but could use some love. Some areas of the cart path were rock and dirt with many rough areas. Also for some unknown reason they had all holes as 90 degree, when we've gotten little to no rain recently. The only thing I could figure was that they didn't want the carts on the fairways because then they'd have to water. Also numerous dead spots on greens.
On the good side, the layout was decent and I would go back to check out the back nine. We only played 9 on this day.
Great course, conditions under repair
First time playing, fun layout. Greens need some help after the extreme heat this summer, especially the back 9. The staff knows this and they're doing their best to make it right. The rest of the course was great, I plan on coming back. FWIW, our group played a 2-putt rule on the back 9 like a golf simulator. If you're on the green, try to make your first putt, otherwise pick it up and call it a 2-putt. Made for a fun day.
nice day for golf
Layout is great, however, greens, fairways, and cart paths need improvement.
Greens need some work i do think staff is working on this i will play again
Green condition
I have never seen greens in such poor condition.
Why don't they replace the turf?
greens and carts
the greens are in verry bad shape also rental carts trouble dying had to switch to their own cart much better went out on 3 rd hole their carts were fine after switch
Great value, poor conditions
Layout of the holes were fun, good pace of play however conditions were not great. Firstly, the ground is rock hard: fairways, tee boxes, roughs EVERYWHERE. It’s like hitting off of cement and gave me a pretty nasty wrist sprain as a result of a chunked shot. It’s a shame because it’s a very nice clubhouse and again the holes were fun. Greens were either burnt up or covered in weeds. So much untapped potential
Fun course but greens need work
They were working on the greens when we played. Course is fun and the Hot Deal was great. Hopefully they improve the greens soon.
Front 9 was a little dry but back 9 was great. Overall great course for those who play for fun. Not overly challenging but makes the average golfer think and plan
If you want good golf, stay away
Course is in shambles. tee boxes are post-war, fairways are non existent, greens remind me of my grandma (not-manicured w/ dimples with overgrowth). Hope they can bring it back to life (unlike my grandma)
Bad greens
The greens had weeds all over it making it impossible to put a straight line. I've never seen the greens get this bad. Looked as if nobody maintained them for over a few months. Have a tournament soon there and pray it is fixed before then.
