Bear Creek Golf Club

Been playing this course for several years and it is clear they are investing back into it. Sand traps were redone a couple years ago and are some of the best in the area. Several tee boxes were being redone on this visit. Hopefully they'll eventually fix the transitions from cart path to course - these are often dirt and rough. Layout is challenging with trees and water lining almost every hole. Only negative is they need to spread out their tee times from 8 minutes to maybe 10 minutes given the aforementioned difficulty. Its rare to play this course in less than 5 1/2 hours. This round was no exception.

Pay someone minimum wage and free golf, to move them along! Horrible!

Even under extreme temp this week. Greens were in good shape, firm and fast but still able to receive a proper wedge shot.

Hole 10 fairway is being improved so tee boxes were moved up to allow sod to take. Noticed were posted almost everywhere.

Clubhouse staff and management always go the extra mile for guest. Grounds crew works hard for a proper setup.

League in evening is always busy. My son and I enjoyed a nice round this Monday.

Range has good balls at good price. Putting and chipping green is always in good shape.

The course is in great condition. Lots of good challenge. A good test for power hitters and positional play, use a wide diversity of shots.

This is a nice layout, greens are fast and true. Some of the fairways have bare spots, but I just moved my ball over to grass. Staff was great, carts have GPS which helps for distance and blind spots on some drives.

Enjoyed the layout, and the course conditions. Need to book a noon or later tee time on a Monday, due to the weekly "senior scramble" that goes on at about 8am every Monday morning. Tee boxes, course amenities, water cooler stations and restrooms were available. Beverage cart would have been a plus with it being so hot outside. Overall, enjoyed the round and will play again next time I visit family in Wentzville.

Don't understand what is going on with cramming in tee times or what and not telling super slow people to pick it up or let faster people play thru but 6 hours is a joke on any busy weekend, no excuse it was fathers day, maybe 5 but 6 or over os absolutely ridiculous and I doubt I'll patronize this course again

Greens were in very nice shape. fairways were missing grass in areas. Mostly in areas where water looks to have been in excess.

Staff was very friendly.

Great improvement over condition in 2024 Sand traps from basically mud in 2024 and prior to nice soft sand

Pace of play was a little slow. Course is in good shape considering all the rain recently.
