Poorly managed
We had a 3pm tee time for 18 holes. When we checked in at 2:15 we were told that we would start on hike 10 and had to be through the back 9 and done with holes 1-4 on the front by 5 because of league. So that's 2 hours to play 13 holes which the same as a 3 hour round. We decided not to warm up and just start at 2:30. At 5 we were on hole 3 which is a pace just under 4 hours. We were told we had to skip to hole 6. If you have a known league why book times that are impossible to finish before the league. We could have played somewhere else. Just stupid.

Great course but poor pace of play
The course was in great condition and I enjoy the layout. However the course had always had issues with pace of play. They do not have marshalls or if they do then they do not speed up play. Unfortunately I have had multiple 6 hour rounds there even when the course is not too busy. If this issue can be fixed then it would be an excellent choice.

Condition of course
Course was in need of repair. I do not understand why the course is so wet and there is a lot of standing water.

Challenging Course
Course in great condition and very challenging. No overlapping fairways designed that each hole is segregated. Only complaint is golfers do not properly repair their ball marks on the greens which hurts all who play after them.

repeat customer
I am an amateur golfer for sure, but compared to the other courses within 30 miles or so, I would rank this one towards the top when you factor in conditions, layout, and value (thanks to GolfNow). The only caution I would give anyone is unless you feel comfortable with your driver, work on your drives at the range ahead of time as many of the fairways are narrow and near houses...I like the tight fairways, as it makes you put a lot more thought into your approach when a bad shot isn't just a lost ball, but perhaps in someones living room.

Fun course..challenging
Read a lot of reviews about how slow pace of play was. I played as a single and four groups allowed me to play through. All very nice and we chatted a while. No complaints about my outing.. it is nice to be from out of town and play a nice course without costing you an arm and leg.. thanks golf now..

They Manage to make golf paibful
930 am tee time on July 4th. Don't know if they just overbook this course or what, but the pace of play is most always slow. Finished around 3pm for a 5+ hour round. Cart path only made it worse. Marshalls need to manage it better. Course condition is okay, but greens were relatively slow compared to other courses in the area.
We apologize that your round with us here at Bear Creek Golf was not as enjoyable as could have been. We do have marshalls out there and we will continue to strive to work on making your round more enjoyable. Please come back in and try us out again soon.
Worse round
We didn't see a Marshall till the 12 hole. That was after over 3.5 hours of painfully slow play. Apparently there was a five some 3 groups ahead on a Sunday. Why that was allowed ( with beginners) is unbelievable . It took 2.45 to finish 9. When we spoke to the pro shop they basically said nothing. Course was okay but we will never return. We quit after 14.... it had already been 4.45 hours. Absolutely terrible.
We apologize that this round of golf was not as enjoyable for you as it could have been. We did have a tournament out there on Sunday. We do have marshalls out there on the weekends and will continue to work and strive at making your round as enjoyable as possible. We do hope you come back again soon and give us a try!
Unacceptable pace of play
This was the most frustrating round of golf I have ever experienced. Our tee time was 11:15 on a Sunday. From the first tee to the 16th tee there was always at least 1 if not 2 groups on the tee box. We didn't see a marshal until the 13th hole. When we finally decided that we had had enough, we arrived at the 16th tee box with 3 other groups. It was 4:55 in the afternoon, almost 5 hours into the round with 3 holes to go. We left at that point. If you are going to book tee times every 8 minutes on a Sunday, than you really should have someone on the course making sure that play moves along. Its a shame that what could have been a pleasurable experience turned into a grueling waste of a precious Sunday. We will not return.

Great course horrible pace of play.
Have played this course many times. It is a challenging course for sure. They have always struggled with the pace of play. Played on a Sunday and had at least a 5 hour round. Play it during the week and it should be a very enjoyable experience.
