I wished when I booked a tee time at 3:04pm for 18 holes with four golfers. That they had leagues starting at 5:00pm
and we could only play nine. Instead they took our money and when we we made the turn to tee off on hole 10 the said that they had a woman’s league starting at 5:00 and we had to go to hole 14 to continue playing. But when we got to hole 14 a high school team was playing very slow The course needs to honest w/it’s customers up front. It appears that the superintendent was more worried about money then the quality of play not happy.

course layout is good with some very difficult holes and some moderate holes. #1 is pretty easy, then it gets tougher

Course was a 4+ condition =need a marshall to move players along
Played the course for years. Only problem was water in the sand traps.

Pace of play still an issue...
Buddy and I booked online, great price and course great given the $36 riding cost. It was just the 2 of us and 2 ahead of us...yet we waited and waited on most holes... probably could have finished 35 minutes sooner.
I will certainly play again, but am concerned about the waiting.

No Heads Up
Using GolfNow I usually get pretty good deals. I assumed a Thursday round in the heat of the day - T-Time being 1248hrs. I thought maybe this was why it was cheap. Instead it turns out- there is a mid - week tournament going on. Took over 6 hours to play 18 holes for my dad and I... Id rather of played at a different course.

Poorly managed
We had a 3pm tee time for 18 holes. When we checked in at 2:15 we were told that we would start on hike 10 and had to be through the back 9 and done with holes 1-4 on the front by 5 because of league. So that's 2 hours to play 13 holes which the same as a 3 hour round. We decided not to warm up and just start at 2:30. At 5 we were on hole 3 which is a pace just under 4 hours. We were told we had to skip to hole 6. If you have a known league why book times that are impossible to finish before the league. We could have played somewhere else. Just stupid.

Great course but poor pace of play
The course was in great condition and I enjoy the layout. However the course had always had issues with pace of play. They do not have marshalls or if they do then they do not speed up play. Unfortunately I have had multiple 6 hour rounds there even when the course is not too busy. If this issue can be fixed then it would be an excellent choice.

Condition of course
Course was in need of repair. I do not understand why the course is so wet and there is a lot of standing water.

Challenging Course
Course in great condition and very challenging. No overlapping fairways designed that each hole is segregated. Only complaint is golfers do not properly repair their ball marks on the greens which hurts all who play after them.

I am an amateur golfer for sure, but compared to the other courses within 30 miles or so, I would rank this one towards the top when you factor in conditions, layout, and value (thanks to GolfNow). The only caution I would give anyone is unless you feel comfortable with your driver, work on your drives at the range ahead of time as many of the fairways are narrow and near houses...I like the tight fairways, as it makes you put a lot more thought into your approach when a bad shot isn't just a lost ball, but perhaps in someones living room.
