Conditioning terrific for middle of July
Back nine more interesting. Course generally played fast, greens good. We got out at 6:30 am and there were foursomes already on the course. Held up first two holes; after that we had clear sailing. I would rank the course just a notch below Far Oaks, Stonewolf and The Bluffs, but better than Eagle Springs, Fox Creek.
great course
Great deal and great condition. Just told us we need to be on hole 15 by 5:30 because of league play. Wasn't a problem for us. Would book it any day of the week.
Course Conditions
I have never seen the course conditions so well done. Congrats to the Course Superintendent for doing a great job! Staff was great to us as well. We will be back for sure.
Slow pace!
The pace of play was terrible and there were no Marshalls to get people going. Terrible round of golf at 5 1/2 hour pace. Won't be back!
They were very unreasonable given the circumstance.
I booked a 4 some for $46 each which is a 5% discount over the direct rate. I did it because it's easier to click here instead of booking direct with the course. Two brothers in our foursome had to cancel last minute due to a family emergency. Instead of charging us the difference between the discount rate and full rate, they insisted they could charge the 2 of us for all 4, and they DID! It cost $92 ea, the course was not crowded, we weren't costing them a dime by having to turn someone away. It was completely unreasonable, think twice about booking Bear Creek.
The course is in very good shape right now.
Fun course with great features, but for a marshaled course, the slow play was disappointing.
Good course
Only complaint is my golfnow tee time never shows up at this course and they act like its a hassle every time. Other than that, the course is always In good shape
very good shape, fairways green, nice greens
Had a great time. The course was in great shape. Played from the back tees, it was a challenge.
Consistently good conditions...
This course provides a good test of where you are with your golf game. Tee boxes were in good shape. Fairways were nice. Greens rolled true and were in good shape. Bunkers were in good shape with decent sand. The girl in the clubhouse wanted to charge me 25 cents for a cup of ice water. Surely, they can't need every last quarter!
The course is in GREAT Shape!
Played on a Tuesday. Greens were soft and holding shots. With all the rain that we have had this Spring, this course is in really great shape. If you get a chance go and play. Looking forward to playing again real soon.
the course was in good shape
When we arrived at the course my tee time have been moved back 40 MIns from what I booked on Golf Now without any notification my time had moved. The course is known for playing slow but 6 hours is to extreme for me. I will not go back,Too many other choices to put myself back there again.
Good solid course
Greens are in great shape, traps are a challenge they appeared as though they had not been groomed in a week or so.
Would not honor my tee time
Went to the coarse today for a 6:48 tee time. Showed up at 6:15 a light rain hit some shoot on the driving range. Putted a few balls. then showed up at the tee box just to be told we can't send you out. The started told me were full and I don't know when you can go out.
I would not recommend this golf coarse.
Excellent condition
The zoysia is magnificent. Greens have a good pace.
Everything is positive, except "pace of play".
A 5+ hr. round on a Friday (morning and afternoon) is too much. Fortunately the temperature was mild; had it been hot, I would have exited after the 3 hr. first 9 holes.
This is an easy problem to solve--add a few more marshals (we saw one) and toughen-up the rules enforcement.
I'll go back for the great value, but only one more time.
This course has some really neat holes.
I enjoy this course, and for the money it was great. However, there was one major problem I encountered. They had too many people clogged up on the course. When I finished 9 holes I was waiting on the tee at number ten and a marshall told me they had a league teeing off in 5 minutes so I needed to go to hole 15 and play 15-18 and then finish the other holes. Not a big deal, however, when I finished number 18, there were 2 people in the fairway on 10 and 2 more on the teebox, so I never got to finish my other holes.
The course is very enjoyable!
I have played Bear Creek many times and I have never been disappointed in the level of friendliness of the staff, the condition of the course or the speed of play, it is always a very enjoyable round of golf -and always a good value!
never again
The course in poor shape, overbooked, and when we ask what the weather look like, we were told it would rain off and on most of the day. What they failed to tell me was they do not issue rainchecks when you book through Golf Now! We played the first hole, then waited 20 minutes to tee of the second. We drove the ball then the rains came hard, and we went to the club house. we were told that the rain was going to be most of the day, and if we like when you get a rain check. We were then informed since we booked through Golf Now no rain check would be given. The rain quickly stopped therefore we went back out to continue. The course was very wet and in poor condition. We finished 9 holes, in 3 hours 45 minutes , with a 15 minute delay due to the rain. We waiting on the 3rd tee with two other groups, as the course was backed up all day. I saved $3.00 per player with the golf now discount but only got to play 9 terrible holes. The fact that I was refused a rain check by the course is the reason I will never be back and hope all your readers will do the same. they had terrible organizational skills, terrible customer service, and it's no wonder with their policies courses in such poor shape. I appreciated Golf Now system, but beware of Bear Creek and the 7 hour round.
the course was in very good condition
Rangers kept pace of play going. Greens were in pretty decent shape. Rough was a little high. Overall a nice course.
Sorry Pal, this just doesn't make sense. I could start guessing, but why bother, and I am not sure I believe the starter told you what you claim. Please be more specific in the future.
