Golfer Reviews
What the...
Charged more for a rider than I paid to play. $15.00 rider fee is INSANE. Most of the back 9 was under water...
Terrible Experience
I have never been so disrespected in my entire life than I was today, by the front desk in the pro-shop lady named Gail. She SCREAMED at me some incredibly inappropriate racial comments after I complained about her placing me in a cart with a male stranger (I am a petite middle-aged Asian American woman) despite the fact that I reserved my own cart. She insisted there must be two people in a cart (what?) and belittled me for using Golf Now Hot Deal. She asked me extra $13.00 for taking my own cart. But I've already paid for the cart on line. Why do I have to pay more or take one cart with a Male stranger? Not only did she discriminate against me and this African American man she placed me in the cart with, she also yelled at me to never come back. No matter how bad of a day she was having, there is no excuse to treat a paying client like this. Steer clear of this place. No amount of discount is good enough to deal with such horrifying customer service.
Not bad
Staff was very polite. Course in good shape. Greens were slow. Greens on back were all crowned, hard to hold shots in greens
Average at best
The clubhouse has a suspicious, acrid smell that would gag a maggot. Overly crowned greens on the back nine are unnecessary.
Aside from that it's a good value at $25 or so.
Mulberry
Great course for the money, course is in excellent condition, tough greens make it challenging but I definitely will return
Good for $20
There is no putting green or chipping area to get warmed up on prior to the round. The greens also seemed to be very poorly designed, almost all greens were were turtle backs. This combined with poor pin placements on a dry day meant a lot of balls rolling off the green even when good shots were made. I wouldn't recommend paying the course unless you are paying twenty dollars or less, much better courses to be played in the area.
Enjoy This Hidden Treasure
Course conditions were great! Nice layout that includes water holes. A special note to the young lady driving the refreshment cart... Made frequent rounds on a very, very hot day. Will play this course again.
Good Bargain
Front nine fair but challenging, while the back nine has Greens that I would say are unfair.
Beautiful course
My wife and I golf here several times a year and we absolutely love it. Well kept course and greens and an all around relaxing atmosphere! Friendly staff!
Speedy golf
It was an overcast dat, but no rain. The course is a good everyday course. There is a club house and tavern / bar. Plus a practice driving range to warm up. The fairways are wide enough and the tree lining the fairways not too thick. This course gets you on the greens. Most are sloped back to front. Most greens are protected on most sides by marsh or brush. The greens are big enough, just don't over shoot them. Approach below the pin on every green, else pay the consequences. Fast play / week day. The people playing on the course were friendly.
Beautiful course - 2 different nines
A great course with 2 different layouts. Front nine is more traditional back nine will challenge your short game skills.
Reminds me of tough PGA tour venues with raised greens with small landing areas Andy run offs.
The property is large gives you generous driving fairways but punishes wayward ones with deep rough.
