This course has some very good greens.
It's well worth the drive. It has an up north feel.
Mullberryhills nice course
greens in great shape roll true medium speed .more undulation than most can be challenging .very quiet country setting no houses great place to unwind . only drawback is no practice green.
Peaceful and relaxoin
Nice course, has an upnorth feeling to it. Some greens are very challenging. Loved it. The course is wide and open, with some water. No bunkers.
Great course
Course was well maintenance and the staff were very friendly. Somewhat out of the way for me but was worth the drive.
Very nice course.
I enjoy golfing here, for the prices you can get it is great for 18.
Great Course
This is a great course tucked back in the country. The course is very well kept and makes for a more reliable play. Although most holes are straight. The pin is hidden quite often. Lots of hills and pins on top of peaks. makes for a fun round. Greatttt course, unbelievable value.
Not bad
It was Mother's Day. The course needed some touch-up. Several greens were covered with pollen sacks and not cleaned off. Golf carts had leftover cigarette butts in them. I will have to try this course again this summer.
Great value, good informal atmosphere
MH is an out-of-the-way country course. I believe it is family-owned, which makes for a very friendly and informal atmosphere. Despite that, the course is very well maintained. It's location hints that it does not get a lot of play, which is GOOD for people like me who HATE being stuck behind slow golfers. Every time I have played it has been smooth sailing around the course. Wet conditions the last time I played forced me to walk the back nine. Avoid this if at all possible because the course is hilly enough that I was very sore the next day from pulling the cart. Ride if you can! I would play there as much as I can for the value and lack of crowds.
Well maintained course. 71 Par course but very long holes.
Nice place to play. No sounds from city and vehicles. Nice bird sounds and lush greens.
Very good value.
Moderate course that you first think is easy but you will notice it would not be that easy.
Cheap and easy, nice to mix in some course variety
The course is straightforward and easy, but for the cheap price is worth playing once in a while to add some variety to the courses that I frequently play. Course is relatively flat so walking is not difficult. Fairways I thought were a little longer than average, and greens were mostly flat with a few holes that had steep breaks.
Challenging course with difficult greens
The greens were very stiff often times which caused roll-offs for any shots that land on the edge of the green. Not many doglegs, but enough to be interesting. Course was in good condition overall even in mid-November.
bad management.
I booked the course 1 week in advance knowing we had some unusually warm weather predicted. Unfortunately the course was not ready for the weather. At 1:08 (my tee time) the course had a 1 hour back up and did not have enough carts available for all the players. We ended up walking using pull carts. Very disappointing day, especially sense I was taking my boss golfing for his birthday.
Great Value
The course is in a rural area. The clubhouse is old and not much to look at but the golf is great. Free range balls to warm up for the challenging course that will test your shot making skills. This is a must play.
Great shape. Tough greens. Good value.
A country course with a barn for a club house that is in great shape, has tough greens and is a good value.
Tale of 2 Courses
The front nine holes plays completely different from the back nine. The front nine has greens that are very inviting, but the back nine has greens that the ball hardly sticks to. The course is well maintained and the facilities are nice. Food in the clubhouse is at or below par.
Worth it
we paid $33 for this round at mulberry hills. there are some tight holes surrounded by trees, other then that its pretty open. Some greens were being air-rated so putting was difficult on some holes. we got stuck behind an awful 4some who took mulligans on every shot. but im not going to diss mulberry for that. overall a good course and well worth the money we paid.
a simple course
The staff is friendly, they keep a good pace of play and it's well maintained. But the holes are pretty straights, it's pretty flat, I don't remember any sand traps and the rough and water were pedestrian. It was a very plain course and a little boring. I would recommend this course to beginners and high-handicap players, but if you are looking for a challenge or something scenic, this isn't it.
Not worth it
Played this course for the first time back in the summer. Course is in the middle of no where and doesn't even have a practice putting green. Greens are some of the worst i've played on and are dome shaped. One of the worst courses in michigan. Good for beginners however. They should all play here so they don't slow up the other courses.
