Ball Wash
Ball Wash stations need to be maintained. Dirty smelly water. In some cases no water
Hilltop Golf Course
Course was in great condition. A few blind shots but not too bad. Clubhouse staff was very friendly, made you feel like that appreciated your business.
slow play, poor conditions, indifferent staff
The course was in poor shape. Ball marks on every green. Unfilled divots in every fairway. It took over 6 hours to play. We gave up after 17 holes, didn't bother playing the last hole. When the staff was informed he said he didn't care. He said his parking lot was full of cars. Probably because no one could finish their round. Very poor management. We do not recommend this course.
Terrain elevated course, seldom crowded and great staff
Plymouth / Canton area course that is never pretentious, seldom has backups and long waits* and has a very well mannered and attentive staff.
The course holds up its name with elevation changes on most holes. Greens are almost always in good shape but tee boxes get beat up.
Great value and close to home for me.
* Many courses overbook and/or have only a few (unrealistic) mins gap between tee times with a starter barking at you just to squeeze an extra few 4 somes in. Not here! Very casual atmosphere.
Waste of money and time
Went for a 3pm hot deal and showed up early. The first tee was backed up with two rangers just sitting there. I booked as a single and when I got to the tee box was told I had to ride with another single because they were running out of carts and they had a lot that were broken. I watched many individuals go off and they didn’t bat an eye. I seen babies kids and even someone’s girlfriend riding along. I paid for a cart and so did the other person so felt as we were being singled out. The course was not in good shape at all and the greens were wrecked on a few holes. I will not come back to this course, if I didn’t pay for a hot deal I would have demanded a refund promptly.

Keep your ball wash stands filled with water and soap
Nice Course - Was Slow for A While, but Picked Up
I had a "Hot Deal" and used my $10.00 coupon so it was a great deal. First time playing the course. We had two beginners ahead of us making it extremely slow, but eventually the Ranger asked them to pick up their balls after "double par" and proceed to the next hole, then the pace picked up. No issues after that. The layout is nice, but you have to be fairly accurate off the tee and in your approach. Some of the greens are brutally hard. If you're above or beside the hole you may not be able to keep it on the green after your first putt or chip. Lot of course will depend on pin position. All in all a very nice experience. Greens were in pretty good shape considering the rain we recently had. Would play again.
Always a pleasure
Great place to work on your accuracy , tight fairways, awesome staff
One of the best bang for the buck 18 in the area. Offers a good bit of challenge, friendly staff, and a well kept track. Can get wet after a rain. Played many times always look forward to the next.
Oh man..
I called the clubhouse and tried to book 18 at 3:45. The gentleman on the phone said, "no, just do a twilight round because we are busy. $36 a person. Awesome. Book it.
Well, when we got there, everything changed. The dude behind the counter rebuffed us as soon as I stated what our reservation was. He told me that he had no control over 3rd party sites. I explained to him that I called the clubhouse and he said, well someone was wrong and we would have to pay for 18. I said just book us for 9 and he said he had us locked in for 18 and we would have to pay for the full round. I said just change it to 9 and he was not having it. He ended up charging us over the agreed amount for twilight and booked us for 9, and gas lit us about the GREAT DEAL we were getting, and kept going on about how busy they were. Fine. Whatever. You got an extra like $18, but you're busy because you clearly overbooked. Justa Let us golf.
Well, that didn't even look feasible, because when we paid.... there weren't any golf carts available. We waited like 15 min for carts. When we finally get a cart, there is a line of like 20 people waiting to tee off. I informed the ranger we had a 3:45 tee time and he said that they were on a first up basis.... and he listened to an Adam Corolla podcast and did nothing. I love Adam Corolla., but not at a high volume while teeing off. We ended up teeing off at almost 4:30. Clearly they overbooked themselves and got greedy.
When we came back in after 9, he blamed us for our slow play, and said that we were the problem. No... we were backed up on every tee box, but the dude was insistent that he did nothing wrong. Like, bro. Just admit you messed up our reservation and overbooked the course. Don't blame us because your clearly off.
Whoever the 55 year old dude is with the dark hair and glasses was a total know. Dude sucks. Stop overbooking. Also, how did a bachelor party break all your golf carts on the first week? Take the money you get from overbooking your course and put it back into having at least enough carts.
I don't usually like to complain on stuff like this. I would rather bring a business up, but this right here had got me heated. It would take a lot to get me to go back.
