Lakes region beauty with lots of Elevated tees
Played Lochmere for the second time ever and first time in 7 years today. I come up to the lakes region fairly often nowadays and this course is great! Very impressed with the course conditions as the greens rolled true and the fairways were in really good shape for any occasion not to mention it being the heart of the summer.
The course boasts lots of open fairways, but is made more challenging by some pretty serious elevation on some holes.
Overall, a great course to play for any golfer as the length can get substantial from the blue tees and there is enough trickery to test even the best golfers.
Highly recommend this course for anyone looking for a beautiful layout and one that will test you a bit!
Excellent Cndition
Lochmere is in excellent condition. Beautiful fairways, extremely friendly staff. Great place to play any chance that you can.
Course is a gem. Great greens. Fast and sloping yet fair. Fairways were great. Tee boxes were good. Father's Day outing so pace was a little slower which was fine with us. Excellent food in the clubhouse. Nice pro shop. I would definitely play there again and though we only played 9 due to time constraints, the back nine was readily visible and looks as good as the front for sure.
Consistent quality
Not a member, but live nearby and play regularly. Always consistent, excellent conditions tee to green and fast, true, tricky greens. Pleasant staff. Good price. Good pace, 4 hours due to our play, not course issues.
Nice course
This is a really nice course. A lot of elevation changes and fast greens. This is my new “go to” course!
Fore fun
The course is in top condition right now. A bit of a challenge with the greens as they were lightning quick but that was mostly due to the dry, breezy weather we played in during our afternoon round.
This course has it all from a good layout, great views, wildlife etc...and if you’re in the Lakes Region of NH it is definitely worth your time to book a golf round at Lochmere GC. Even better if you find a GN deal!!
First time player, scratch golfer. Course was in superb shape, kudos to crew! Need green book to understand the local breaks, but all good - well done!
Great course, great greens!
Played this course for the first time today- everything was excellent, staff was great and friendly, and couldn’t believe how quick and well maintained the greens were for a course that looks like it gets a lot of of play...highly recommended can’t wait to play again
Excellant Conditions
I just need to stop for a minute, and mention how great the course is; especially this year. It looks like the owners took the time off due to Covid to significantly improve what was already a beautiful course. Greens and fairways are in outstanding shape, Vic and the rest of the staff are always amazing, and the layout changes have really improved overall play.
Highly recommend.
This course is beautiful, In awesome condition. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. They are putting a lot of money into improvements. We love golfing at Lochmere. You won’t be disappointed!!
