Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Country Club
About
Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Golf Club is one of South Jersey's most popular public courses. It's a local favorite not only because of the affordable rates but also for the challenging design. The diverse terrain provides the classic layout with a mix of flat and hilly holes. On some holes you can expect elevation changes from tee to green. It's a golf course that will keep you on your toes. It will test your accuracy with its narrow, tree-lined fairways and the elevation changes throughout the course make proper club selection essential. Water hazards also appear on nine occasions. The course has appeal for players of all skill levels. It's player-friendly enough for beginners while advanced players will enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities. There is also a driving range available at Valleybrook Golf Club.

Course was in excellent shape. Greens were fest hardly any marks on greens for this late in October.
Decent course
For the price this is a gem. However the course is short. The pace of play was pretty slow. This is a pretty easy course. Greens are in great shape.
Valley Brook in the morning
A buddy and I played this course early on a Saturday. We were first off and towards the mid point of the course actually had a twosome right behind us. Got around in under 3 hours. With the exception to some very soggy areas and a couple of quirky holes, it was an enjoyable round.
1Eagle
Very nice course! Although a outing was scheduled during our round and there were people randomly riding around in golf carts on the course while we were trying to play which was annoying.
Okay Course
The course has some bad spots throughout the course. The greens are slow and bumpy. Don't really roll nice. I would only play with a good hot deal. There are better options.
Good experience
Had a good time . Not to crowded . Course was in good shape for this time of year.
Ron does it again
This was the 2nd course Ron owns and again great value to play. Greens rolled good and consistent. Bunkers were comsistent as well. This course rewards fairways and punishes you in the rough. But it was fair. I will definitely use my passport to play here again
Bumper to Bumper
Been a long time since I have to deal with slow pace, but this one was pushing 5 hours plus, as it was bumper to bumper. We eventually stopped after 12 holes, as we were heading at Atlantic City for the evening, and at that point in the round we were at 3.5 hours.
It does have lots good hole, elevation changes, the course was in good shape with recent rains... just a slow pace and I wished we could have finished.
Excellent value
Pace is usually pretty good the course is always in very good condition and the staff is always friendly and professional. Rileys pub is the best after your round.
slow play at VB
If you want slow play go to valley brook,I quit after 9 holes,
Wow what a surprise!!!
When you pay $24 for a round of 18 you don’t expect that much but what a treat this gem is. The course was in great shape and the staff has made so many wonderful changes to give this place a private club feel. There’s no longer that feel that your slumming it when playing at Valleybrook. Great job
overbooking tee times in the winter
the staff overbooks tee times in the winter when there is a warm day. As a result, it leads to slow pace of play due to multiple all having the same tee time or a window of about 4 minutes b/w tee times. There all about money, I understand that, but come on now for the price we pay to play, overbooking to increase profits impacts negatively upon customers.
Too many leaves
Too many leaves on the greens, but bigger problem was too many leaves in vicinity of greens. Hole # 15 and 16 need some redesigning. The landing area for the tee shot is too small and the bushes in the vicinity of that landing area are just plain annoying and unnecessary. The short layup tee shot necessary on #16 is absurd. I’ve never played another course with such a short layup. Maybe a redesign is necessary for this hole. Overall I like the course and have played many times long ago.
Valleybrook is one of the best!
I always have a good time at Valleybrook. The courteous and knowledgeable staff, the superbly maintained course, and the great food are all the reasons I return. Riley's is always a great way to end a round of golf.
