Bring your driver to putt on greens!
The greens at Avalon are the slowest in the tri-state area! Your feet sink into the green when you walk on them and when you place your ball on the green it sinks down! We were told the greens were cut and rolled. What a joke!

Very good value for location. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Course is well maintained and manicured. Pro shop is well equipped. Restaurant is good value with many selections. Pace of play is slow: figure on 5 hours minimum.

Of the courses open to the public in the Cape May area, Avalon is the best. Fairways and greens are in very good condition. Nice club house, very nice restaurant. Staff friendly and efficient.

Tight and short
Course in good shape. Nice clubhouse with good food. Pace of play was awful - 5 hours. Did not see a ranger all day. The starters are attentive and helpful. Course layout is fairly interesting.

Had a great round.
Sometimes course staff isn't so nice to GolfNow players. Definitely NOT the case here! Great experience, and the course was in real nice shape. Awesome GolfNow rate! I will definitely play here again.
