Hot and humid with little shade
Course in decent shape after this stretch of heat. Pace a bit slow, 4hours and 45 minutes for a round starting at 7:50 AM but we had a threesome in front of us with a handicap flag on their cart. Would play again
Bad coirse
They over book ran out of carts. I made two trips in one first trip and last trip there. Never play there again

Great shore course
Great playing conditions. Bag drop staff treated you as if you knew them for years. All around great experience.

Good Value for Avalon
Overall a good value, played for $70 on a weekday morning which was one of the cheapest courses in the area.
Course is not in the best shape. The back 9 especially was a little beat up. Somewhat challenging layout, not a very long course.
Would play again but definitely would not pay more than $70 to do it.

Great course to play
I play this course once a year while on vacation and it's always an enjoyment. Every year I end up playing with another twosome and it's always a pleasure. The locals are such great people, so nice and fun to hang out with. I would play this course again just to play with the locals, just good people. Course in good shape, greens a little slow, but fun course at good price. Highly recommend!

A lovely day and a great course
The course was in great shape and everyone in our foursome had a good time. Pace of play could have been better but it was a busy day and in all our round of 18 took 4.5 hours so not too bad. Will definitely come back to enjoy the golf and course amenities.

Slow greens
I don't play here often because the greens are too slow
Short course that would be more enjoyable to play if they fertilized the fairways and greens weren't so slow.
Staff is excellent

Ok course
Arerated greens, conttrustion

Decent
Most of the course was in beautiful shape. Fairways were excellent. The greens, however, were in really rough shape. They were all recently aerated and there was no warning of that on golfnow when I booked the teetime. They were also covered in sand. I am chalking it up to the fact that it is early and the season. I plan on playing again closer to mid summer to see if the greens are in better shape. Once those are fixed this course really is amazing and not too difficult

Value for Quality Golf
Excellent rate thru Golf Now made this a can't miss course for the money ! Well maintained with enough of a challenge for the average golfer , the course also offers a casual Country Club atmosphere and looking forward to completion of their under construction " 18th Hole " outside deck ....

Very scenic
Very scenic course, nicely manicured. The staff could not be nicer. Well worth the 60 mile drive to get there. Would definitely return.

Great local course
This is a great local course at the Jersey Shore. During the summer months it is too crowded with the summer tourists to play.
Fall is perfect. Although the warm weather brought out many golfers, the pace of play was fine.
Course was in great shape and we had a very enjoyable round.
The golf now rate was reasonable and a great value for this course.
I would definitely recommend this course to a friend or anyone else.

Nice Fall Day
Great Round, Great weather. Aside from a leaves on the 4th green, the course was in great shape for any time of year. Can't wait to get back.
