Nice layout
Nice course, but too many geese. Definitely have to resolve this issue.
great day of winter golf
Had a wonderful outing with family the day after xmas. The course was in fine shape despite the rain, and is much improved over previous years.
Good day
Course was in really of condition and at the price we paid you could not beat it. Course is always in good shape at this time of the year.
WOW
Course was in great shape. Greens were neat and trimmed, not blistering fast or too slow. Nice easy course, lots of space and the weather was so great. Lovely October weekend. Sand in bunkers was nice and sandy, not dirt, just a beautiful course. Food was reasonably priced and staff was quick to respond as we had to get to the T box but had to eat. Really nice and friendly.
Worst round of golf this summer
This round of golf was terrible from the start. There was no starter at the first hole to send golfers out in order and properly space them. Therefore, our 2pm tee time was useless. There was literally a free for all of golfers lining up at hole number one. We did not tee off till 2:30 and waited at every hole. There was no ranger to be seen the entire time on the course. Since we did not tee off at 2pm, subsequently we ran out of daylight at 7pm. We still had 5 holes that we did not play . The golfers in front of us left the course also not finishing their round and not happy. Unfortunately, the thought process at this course is to pack in as many players as possible disregarding pace of play. Too bad cause the course itself is in good shape.
A great course
We had a great time paired up with 2 other golfers. Pace of play was the only disappointment. 5hrs and we had 3 holes we couldn't play because of darkness
the ourse was fun to play
we enjoyed playing. The course rangers could have been more polite. but over all it was a goon day. would play it again
Great End of Season Value
We've never played the course before but decided to check it out at the end of the season. Even with no one around, the staff was friendly and attentive, not just going through the motions. There was a member tournament that no one told us about which was a little annoying because some members asked to play through and then asked us to not touch their best ball markers, but the "player assistance" staff took care of us to make sure we still had a great time. The course was still in great condition for the end of the season, so I'm sure it's even better during peak times.
Too long - Play Elsewhere
Played here on a decent golfnow deal for $45 not following the other reviews. I thought the other reviews of 6+hr rounds were exaggerated, believe me they're not. Course is not overly hard so poor round times are due to bad course management, play another quality course not here.
Course was in great shape
Perfect course to relax and enjoy a round of golf. We played from the senior tees and it was more of a finesse game as compared to a power game. As a senior, I prefer the shorter course for seniors and don't feel pressed to hit long drives. I play and enjoy the game more. It's a perfect course for guys and gals like me.
out of towner
The course was in great shape, staff was friendly and helpful. The pace of play was excellent.
Average course
Course was in ok condition. Played in the early afternoon, no cart service and snack stand at the turn was closed. Bag boys didn't even offer to take bags off cart or wipe them down.
Course
Nice course. Was well worth the price. Weather was good and the course was in good shape. The greens were relatively slow.
Labor Day Weekend
We played on Saturday, 8/30. In all the times we played this was, by far, the best we've experienced. Pace of play was great until the 17th hole -- wasn't bad though. Was a great day to play.
Slow Play on Wednesdays
Played August 20, 2014.
Started about 20 minutes late of tee time. It took us 3 hours to play the front nine. Called on # 8 and complained about the slow play.
Before we started the back we went into the club house to view our concerns about the slow play because one of our playing partners had to make a concert at a specific time.
They assured us we would finish the back nine in 2 hours and if not we would get a refund to play another day. Needless to say we had to stop after # 15. We checked the time and if we would have finished the round would have taken six hours and about 20 minutes. We did go back to the club for at least a 9 hole replay but was denied. They went back on their work. I will try my best not to play here again on a Wednesday.
6 hour round
We went off 30 minutes after our scheduled tee time, had to call the pro-shop to complain sitting on the 4th tee with three groups backed up and on pace for a 7 hour round. To their credit they sent someone out to move some people along but from the time we were supposed to tee off to when we finished it was just about 6 hours.
Course was average and there was a good deal of wind that made for some challenges. Greens were furry and bumpy.
It would be unfair of me not to mention that there was a good deal of rain the night before causing for cart path only - might have contributed to the slow play (not a 6 hour round excuse) and poor greens.
NEVER AGAIN
If you are not playing with your kids or shoot better than 115, stay away. To say it was a long day would be an understatement. 5 1/2 hours on a weekday to finish a round of golf. I only paid $29. thanks to golfnow, that was the only good thing. This course normally gets $60-$80.
NO RANGER !!!!!!!
ANOTHER GOLF COURSE CONCERNED ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY AND NOT ABOUT YOUR ENJOYMENT OF THE COURSE.
If you are going to play here on a weekend, hope you have 6 hours to spare.........................
